the whole movie is first person camera, so we never see Robert Montgomery except in mirrors and reflections. My favorite observation about Audrey in this movie is a New Yorker reviewers' review in which she observes "at one point, Audrey Totter comes at you lips ajar as if to honor you with a great big kiss, but she gets lost in the shadows. That's about as close to any real fun as there is in this movie."
12-20-2011. She's full of glee at 93. Happy Birthday, Audrey. You've come a long way since Main Street After Dark.
