The world needs to re-awaken to the amazing lyrics, melodies and musicianship of this great band. I defy anybody to listen to there version of Wild Mountainside and not have a tear in there eye.

Jiggs and all others who have commented....My thoughts for what it's worth..... I am 46 - brought up with the Beatles/Stones etc, who speak for themselves. These guys in my opinion however are up there. Possibly the best band from Scotland never to 'make it'. I love these guys and watch them everytime. Also an avid fan of the River Detectives, Silencers, McKenzie's and in my opinion, the finest band ever spawned in Scotland - the sensational Blue Nile ( who have semi 'made it' I think). Ian D

Yeah, I LOVE this song, this album, everything about it. One of my favorites. They've influenced me musically. Funny thing is that I learned later that the producer was John Leckie! He also produced one of my other favorite albums, THE STONE ROSES debut album. Both of them have a great atmosphere to them.
