Although I do have a great taste for such high quality firearms.
I remember shooting the P20 SK with my father down at the range, it was great!
That is all correct. My CETME is the most I could afford though, the M-14's cost 3 times as much. The FALs go for the same.
If I could get my hands on a UMP, it would be nice. They run $1400 for the crappy American Civlian type that we have around here, and costs several hundred more to convert it to use UMP accessories. Oh and the barrel is 16 inches long because of federal law that states that any barrel under 16 inches will go on a killing spree and kill thousands of people on its own.
I go to a lot of combat style matches, where jamming and misfires cause an instant loss. Every once in a while, an older gun has a problem, or a dirty gun does. I've seen 1911's jam, just because they were DIRTY. But there are a couple guys with USPs, and they jam a lot, but it might be because of limp wristing the guns. The Glock guys jam so much that they lose consistently because of it, and they jam so much more often than anything else.
"Ein nahezu unzerstörbarer Werkstoff". Also den Quatsch kannst du deiner Großmutter erzählen. :) Lass das G36 einmal fallen und die Schulterstütze bricht durch weil sie viel zu dünn entworfen wurde. Plastik ist Plastik. Es macht das Gewehr angenehm leicht und billiger. Das ist es , nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Aller andere ist pure Hersteller Werbung. ;)
Sind das G36 und die P2000 aus genau dem gleichen Verbundstoff? Ich bin mir nicht ganz so sicher...ich meine die P2000 wäre aus einem anderen Kunststoff. Und bei der P2000 gibt es auch nicht so ungünstige Hebel wie bei einer langen Konstruktion wie die Schulterstütze ;) Hast du beim Bund mal deine "Tupperwumme" fallen gelassen oder wie?!
