I'm getting an xbox360 for christmas...I wanted a Wii(mainly because of price Wii is more suited to a casual gamer such as myself) but the XBOX360(althoigh I have a PS2) is going to be overall better I think because PS3 relies on hardcore gamers XBox has game you can pickup and play every now and theen and have fun PS bass its games around complicated stories which if you once or twicee a week you forget what happened so XBOX will "own" (i hate slang) PS3

hmmm... you say ps3 and xbox360 are very similar and neither is better, but if your talking sheer power, performance and overall graphical capability the playstation 3 is way above the xbox360 in all these aspects, what strengthens xbox is the fan base and online play which is so popular, dont get me wrong tho, the 360 is an amazing console, good games good feel great graphics but playstation 3 is in a totally differnt league, next next generation if you will.

The Blu-Ray technology will allow the PS3 to have a much larger capacity to hold information but skimped on the drive so larger games will have lag issues.The Blu-Ray will be dependent on the drive to churn out the info and in most cases it ran well, but it was only running at a 2X or 4x and with large games, too slow. Graphical and power and the ability to handle the information is what is important and neither console distinguished themselves as a leader in ANY faucet.

I don't want to wait an entire year for gta4. Well... least its going to be for the xbox 360 and ps3. I'm starting to see that ps3 will not do well. It's going to be very costly and most of the games on it will be playable on the xbox 360 anyways.

Who CARES what's better, PS3 or XBox 360 or Wii? You can all be like "FUCK 360" but does that help? Not REALLY. Microsoft has Halo, Nintendo has Super Smash Brothers, Zelda, Mario, KIRBY, etcetc, and Sony has . . . Not GTA exclusivity anymore, but it has Kingdom Hearts? And a bunch of other games too.
