  • fcuk, 2 top comment is a reply~

  • will this work with any android or just sony?

  • Just buy it, do not advise it to anyone. Out of sync with my phone (Nexus One) all the time, notifications arrive too late ... PRODUCT AWFUL!! 0 / 10: (

  • can you use the gadget without the phone?

  • Compatible with Wildfire 2.2.1 ?

  • I´m very happy with SonyEricsson.. thx.. the xperia mini pro with some of this accessories is more than enough for me =)

  • Ipad nano should be like this

  • can i some haw install pac man and play there??

cause it will be a pretty good distraction when some of my boring teachers come

    to classXD

  • Is it compatible with Samsung Galaxy S2 ?

  • @TheArshtube Yes!!

  • Katy Perry? Beatles, Bob Dylan, Chico Buarque. Everything but Katy Perry.

  • Wonder if it will play well with my HTC Sensation and my LG HBS-700 bluetooth headset.

  • somebody knows if windows phone 7 have a similar Accessories?

  • @chaofreak8 yeah bro, pretty much any android device running 2.3 or higher, however specifically doesn't work with moto droid

  • Comment removed

  • its soo small... looks a little bulky it would be better with a 2.4" screen

  • Is it water-proof?

  • I wonder how well it would work in a three-way, with a smartphone, bluetooth headphones, and this guy. The whole concept has potential... but I worry the software compatibility issues would be a bit of a headache to work with.

Also, how good is the battery life?

  • dosent apple have the same product?

  • @joeles69

Apple has the Nano 6, which is specifically an MP3 player with no bluetooth. This has bluetooth and is meant more for a quick-access remote to your smartphone.

  • Can you send text messages with this?

  • Sweet, can get it cheap in Malaysia.

  • Can you call With it??

  • @prylville

you can go into your phone book and make a call

  • good item , with 2 very bad flaw , the watch mount is very unsafe, i all most lost it 3 times , the screen it self is a little bit small, and it has no feel to it ,so can be lost very easy.

I think if they do a up date model they should just make it a watch just fit it in the body of the MBW 100, would be so cool

  • Are he swedish?

  • I have a samsung galaxy s2 it this compatible and will it display phone numbers and can i answer or reject a call?

  • @tangerinestorm yes, it says on the website it works for other phones too.

  • XPERIA X10i still the best.

  • @avikbelllic911 Besides i-phone which is non comparable with those ancient calculators galaxy S2 is better than x10.

  • Pretty cool, though I really want something similar just for music control.

Been looking for some compatible with Xperia Play, having trouble finding anything. Anyone know of something that's like that? (wired is fine).

  • ipod nano wanna be

  • @transformers574

not really. This is not a wanna be. Ipod Nano doesnt sync with your phone.

  • how much the price in dollar ??

  • Does this watch had pdf reader?

  • 我買左 !

    但係唔知點解冇fb 囉 ! so sad =[

  • whats the point? your phone has a screen! and you still need to carry it around with you! whats next? A Sony Ericcson stylus for the ipad?

  • @benjinumber15 I think this was kinda cool. If you're one of those guys who always wears a watch anyways (like me), well now you have a watch where you can also read text messages, control your music etc.

  • No doubt another overprice gimmick.

  • Got mine today. So much fun to play around with. I like the way you can read a FB alert on the LV and make the phone open to the same web page remotely. I'm looking forward to more Apps.

  • I have a Sony ericsson W302 will it be compatible?

  • @calod96 no

  • Is this is available for HTC Tattoo???

  • Is this is availble for HTC Tattoo????

  • @kartikay55 i think it is compatible for all the android phones having android 2.1 or above.:)

  • Comment removed

  • when can we expect the update for the software this month? It is really much needed! my liveview is practically useless right now with my Galaxy S and it doesn't even work well with an x10...

  • Just bought it for €60 :)

  • Why does it only work with Android?

  • @therock005

Because the Android platform is going to rule over the cellphone industry in the near future. ;)

  • @therock005 yeah.only with android phones

  • will this be available in asia?

  • Anyone know of any gps apps that utilise this? Would be very handy for cycling.

(I mean something that actually uses the screen to display a map... or at least directions)

  • It is an awesome, but 1st gen product, i hope other manufacturers come into play and we get some cool implementations of this idea.

  • @Novettam Very true.. I'm tempted to get it.. (its not crazy expensive) but I'm always dubious about buying first gen products...

  • This idea is great, got one 2 days ago, her in Holland for 57 € .

BUT...... the battery is not holding for more than maybe at most 10 hours, which is way to short, practically making this a useless gadget.

I think i will try to give it back to the shop, and wait for a decent "liveview-alike" thing from another brand......

  • I would actually get this as my watch...80bucks isnt that much.

  • Though lifeview appears interresting, I am wondering what else should one buy to use such combo (X10 + LV) as a cycle computer with heart rate monitor?

  • @RWalentynowicz you need just Sportypal PRO subscription, it is perfect on all X10, X10 mini, X10 mini pro and X8, and Blue tooth heart rate monitor from Polar or Zephyr (Sportypal PRO support both), it is perfect combination and really powerfull tool

  • @RWalentynowicz you need just Sportypal PRO subscription, it is perfect on all X10, X10 mini, X10 mini pro and X8, and Blue tooth heart rate monitor from Polar or Zephyr (Sportypal PRO support both), it is perfect combination and really powerful tool

  • They should make a cycling gomputer adapter, you could have your phone send your GPS locations and speed etc to your computer without farting about with USB.

  • @neutron7 I was thinkg something similar that wrist strap looks like it would easily be adaptable to fit handlebars... Be great for displaying a map/speed/location/directions. A lot of possibilities.

  • wow this is really cool but i dont understand the purpose though, cuz y bother witth that when u can just use the phone already? plus i run often and i wouldnt want my expensive x10 in my pocket while im running, the compression and impact forces operating on it might decrease its life span, what do u fellars think? i might still get it though , for no reason in particular!

  • @vonkroppelberg A fair point.. I wouldn't jog with an x10... I'd be terrified i'd break it. ... I have an x8 which cost 100 euros... shame if it breaks but not gonna break the bank replacing it.

  • @1:34 He's pressing the left capacitive button unintentionally.. look at how the menu is flicking to the left.. haha!

  • Where can i buy it in MEXICO? Donde lo puedo comprar en MEXICO?

  • Imagine yourself cheating at your exams. :D

  • 0:25 - 0:27

I love the way he says Twitter.

  • @frickfrock999 sounds like ezio auditore

  • @frickfrock999 twit...............er

  • This thing only works with SE phones with Android 2.1+ ??

  • At least the dude is wearing a sick skull ring........

  • Yep, I want this.

  • Battery life?

  • @KesSharann

    over nine thousand hours...

  • Pity it's only for Android. WP7 or iOS compatibility would have been nice. It won't be long until Apple releases something worse than this, but more popular and expensive :P

  • @skitterrusty haha totally true

  • @skitterrusty Well, Apple does have the iPod nano, which can also transform into a watch too haha..

  • @ytzify And what can the nano do apart from display the time when you wake it up? I might as well clip my smartphone to my wrist, it gives the same amount of functionality.

  • @ytzify This is a pointless comparison. This device is a smartphone add-on, the only thing it has in common with the nano is that it can strap on your wrist, it has many more functions. The nano has no wireless connectivity of any kind, including bluetooth and cannot possibly do this with a linked iPhone.

Believe me, I want it too. If they allowed the nano to have this function, I'd pick one up tomorrow for my phone.

  • #ugly

  • hahaha A watch better than the omnitrix hahaha

  • Is there opportunity, to change styling of watch which is presented when you start working with gadget?

  • Just got one! It's fantastic, everything is working except for the music... i've an htc desire with froyo. I'm not able to change music.. someone can help me? when will be available plugins? what's the app for running that's in the video?

  • @scooterticino If you mean the running app, it's SportyPal. Hope it helps ;)

  • Steve Jobs: iWatch is coming soon.... it changes everything...again....and over again.

  • it looks like 73 people use iOS and don't believe in open source and being free to modify there phone and/or OS any way they want. (And have Apps reject because they COMPETE with the built in apps.)

  • hold on a second, I need to charge my watch! #FTW #CUTE #LOL

  • This is SonyEricsson Innovation.

  • Sony Ericsson LiveView™

    Now this video ROCKS !!

    John

  • Lite skandal att du är så dåligt på engelskt uttal när du ska fronta ett företag som Sony Ericsson.

    Skärpning!

  • Fail 1:33 to 1:41 .

  • guess this will make me use watches

  • I like how he says twitter:)

  • How about the battery? It's connects to the phone via bluetooth right? Will it easily drain my phone battery ?

  • Why no email?

  • Kinda look like the new nano..

  • Yay! Wrist cancer inducing device!

  • it is cool!:D

  • Xperia x10 ??

  • I would love this, but it NEEDS a watch option, with a simple digital watch display when in standby...

  • @ND1Razor It already does this. If you look carefully at the video it briefly flashes the time/date display. He clicks once to wake the display, and again to go to the homescreen.

  • @Funnergoat Sweet!, dnt notice that! :3 i want one!

  • He has a pico projector in his ring on his finger LOL.

  • OMG!! They made Derek Zoolanders phone!

  • Consequently evolved the MBW models, looks good. However, it's nothing that new.

I hope the battery is satisfying. 4 days sounds ok, BUT we all know that a smartphone with "4 days battery" has to be recharged about once a day - hope it really lasts 4 days.

  • this is actually a potentially very useful device, depending on the user. i run a lot, and that app on my wrist would be extremely useful. plus the idea of not having to reach around all the time for my phone...a possible winner. and no, it has nothing to do with the ipod people, its just a remote control.

  • What to do no market android apps in UAE...

  • What to do no market android apps in UAE...

  • £69.99 folks... im lovin it :D

  • my dream

  • His thumbs are nasty

  • And does this thing has a 9mm jack for a headphone set?

Otherwise i just buy the MW006 from sony, and leave this one alone.

  • What is the application's name he showed?

I can't hear what he says properly, thanks to his accent.

    Thanks.

  • @mitchell600 I think the app you are refering to is Sporty Pal. I hope it helps ;)

  • Fallout. Pip-boy 2000.

The future that was made in the past is finally upon us.

    Sweet!

  • Linked here from Tested.com - They talked about how this is a discrete way to check your phone if you are in a meeting or something. If it's important, you can excuse yourself - and if not you can call them back later - it prevents you from pulling your phone out and being "that guy" at the meeting.

  • how do an ipod touch / nano compare... they are chalk and cheese, ipods dont interact with your phone to alert you to new things or run apps......

  • This's by far the most stupid thing I've ever seen. Just grab your phone and read your fucking SMS or whatever you wanna do with sucker.

  • Me wants one :)

  • Fuck you Sony we still remember liksang

  • Tooooo small. Get an iPod touch

  • Don't worry Peter, that's why they all it schpoople.

  • nadie habla español

  • @TheCristian7161 alguien aqui respondanme

  • I would rather have A Ipod Nano

  • This is TOTALLY USELESS!

  • "you just long press"

  • ZWTaS-GaBmA

  • ew his thumb,

  • @BestM8ts12 Megan Fox also has a "Big-toe thumb", just FYI.

  • Screw you APPLE ^^

  • Screw You apple ^^

  • Imagine changing radio stations on your watch, imagine checking incoming messages on your watch, mail headers, calendar alerts, without any setup, just a bluetooth link to your (android) phone, all this while you are running, cycling, when it's raining and you dont want to get your phone out of your back pack. This is awesome for someone who understands the possibilities. This is the beginning of a new way how we interface with everyday things

  • @Demies uh, sorry the new ipod nano came first lol.

  • @Demies get over yourself

  • @Demies @gosteelelersandpie Ever heard of the Watch Phone, by LG?

  • @Demies

Man are you a fanboy or what?

First of all it's 70 euro, wich is not that small amount of money in lot of countries( except the rich ones) and you get a watch for that.

  • @Demies awesome, so i have to charge my phone now every 4 hours instead of 8hours if i really use it... seriously, before they do gags like that, they should work on the battery lifetime... if i turn on bluetooth, wlan (or umts) and gps battery is gone in 2hours. Dont get me wrong, i am a big fan of android and SE, but in the real world, it's just not working like that.

  • @Demies haha before you get all aroused like that you should take a looong look at what the device really can do. You sound like the guys from apple who talks about FaceTime as the new way of communicating.

  • @Demies we are about to embark upon a new era...

  • @Demies No it isn't, it's just a clock with a touch display. Stop acting like a retard.

  • @Demies it doesn't do that stuff though.

at least the iphone nano version works with nike's running shoes and platform, so it could, you know be of some use to you working out? idiot post with 30 likes sigh

  • @JesseDegenerate

    that's why I said "Imagine."

  • @Demies imaging clipping a facebook's icon on ur t-shirt!!XD

  • @carrottop74 im pretty sure you have no creative reasoning. no way of thinking of the many uses of such a device. this is why you bought an iphone. Its a fawking smartwatch! you can get small amounts of useful info. it replaces an ipod shuffle, a watch, and if it has a mic, wold be a very cool phone watch. now you dont have to buy one of those chinese phonewatches. carrottop74 is a fawking idiot.

  • Läge att gå en kurs i engelskt uttal. Pinsamt.

  • its bugged at 1:36 its moving by its self

  • @sprtkes

His finger is touching the left "button" surface.

  • @sprtkes no it's not. the sides of the phone are touch buttons. look how he's holding it.

  • @sprtkes pretty sure hes got it in demo mode, or holding one of the touch surfaces with one of his toethumbs

  • for a watch its cool

  • I trully think this is a bad done Ipod nano!

  • stupid.

  • FINALLY! a cool watch!

  • i want it just cause its little.

  • @pandoraandvladimir thats NOT what she said.

  • Cool a mobile for your mobile. How fucking stupid...

  • 0:27 twi-ter

  • advanced pager?

  • looks more like a CASIO release

  • I´ve always been against the Ipod crap, but being completely honest; this is nothing compared to the Ipod nano.

  • a watch without straps

  • toe thumb!
