  • send the global elites to court, they set the whole thing up.

  • My heart goes out to these people, and it's good to see that even those touched most by this tragedy still have the courage to believe in America.

And that's what it all comes down to:

Are we Americans or aren't we, and does that still mean anything? Do we believe in the values we preach or don't we?

Or do we throw out the Constitution as soon as somebody scares us? And if we do, then somebody call Osama bin Laden and tell him he won. We're terrified.

  • i hear you.

    don't throw out the constution!

i don't think osama bin laden exists tho,

  • They are going to try five of them who are guilty and want to be executed, with no defense, in civilian court... someone will have to defend them and his words about how its the United States' fault will be used by anti-Americans against us. It will work against our safety. Just execute them, they are terrorists!

  • terrorism is not the same as war..

you cant fight a terrorist with soldiers in the streets... Terrorism have always been fought with intelligence and local police, untill after 911, where they claim they are fighting Al Quada in the mountain caves of Afghanistan... which is a total lie.

Al Quada is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an identified entity representing the 'devil'

But even war criminals decerve a fair trial, and torture is wrong in all cases.

  • @Birgeyful

I think you're confused on some of the definitions.

Terrorism is a family of military tactics. The goal of which is to influence public opinion. It is generally used in asymmetrical warfare: a small enemy versus a large one.

Since terrorism is a military tactic, & is not special, those who conduct terrorist actions against a state are a military combatants; those who conduct it within the borders of a country are criminals.

  • you make it sound like the roman empire.

    foreingers are human you know.

  • @ttimothymurphy

Foreigners don't sacrifice their natural rights to be apart of the US -- natural rights being all of the rights you would have if you lived in alone in a forest: freedom, control of the fruits of your labor (wealth), etc. They don't follow US laws, pay US taxes, or contribute to US society. Thus they do not receive US civil rights, rights protected by law. Also, these individuals were never subject to US law thus they have committed no crime. They subject to US military policy.

  • When these guys were trained by our cia and given millions to fight the soviets in Afghanistan , were they just employees of America. You see we built frankenstein and now here it is , we won't admit it ,but the Bush Family is long time friends with the Binladens. During the Reagan admin. what was good old Goerge Bush sr. up to , look it up!

  • "When these guys were trained by our cia and given millions to fight the soviets in Afghanistan , were they just employees of America.'

PLEASE PROVIDE A REFERENCE OR LINK TO SUPPORT THIS LIE.

  • I feel for every family of every victim of the 9/11 terrorist attack and every family of every service member who has fallen in the war on terror. The 5 people shown in this video have made their intentions clear and I can respect that. However they didnt show that they understood the factors contributing to the manner of which the detainees are currently held, namely they are being treated as Unarmed Combatants. A status made clear by the Hague conventions and quite legal.

  • I suggest the ACLU find all the relatives from all those killed that day (or as many as possible) and have them sign one of two petitions. One too treat the terrorists as American Citizens and give the access to the fruits of our legal system OR try them as Unarmed Combatants as the Geneva and Hague conventions clearly dictate. Given the message behind this video, my suggestion doesnt seem off base.

  • Well, except we're not a country which prides itself on following the law when it's popular, and throwing it out when it is not.
