Haven't listened to a Malmsteen piece in a year or two to be honest, and I'm SO glad I chose to listen to this tonight! Absolutely beautiful piece of art. This is coming from a guitarist in a metal band, and I spend most of my listening time with Whitechapel, Cannibal Corpse, Death, Exodus, things like that. It's so nice to get away from the heaviness and enjoy some beautiful work like this,

I listen to Behemoth, Lamb of God, Enslaved...and it is nice to get away from that...for maybe only an hour or so...I also listen to more hard rock like Clutch, Motorhead, Black River, Viking Skull, Classic rock..Beatles, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Punk..The germs, U.k. subs, misfits, ramones..and blues...Son house, SRV...But mostly the death metal, and black metal. BUT, there is major talent in those genres also...
