I know technically, what Gleason did was against the code but c'mon, Kulemin started and kept it up, he deserved to have his ass kicked.
The big boys are in a tough spot when the weak Europeans wanna scrap with them. That was a total cheap shot. Gleason throws the first gloved punch. Kulemin punches back. Gleason throws another gloved punch to which Kulemin responds. At that point it is no different than thousands of little pushing and shoving scrums you see all the time in the NHL. Gleason then drops his gloves , yanks Kulemin off balance and lands a total sucker punch.

Well, you see this all the time. "NON" Fighters throwing jabs/punches with their gloves on. If you don't want to fight, then don't throw punches. Face Washing is one thing, but jabs/punches in another. A lot of the non fighters use the "I didn't drop the gloves defense". Kulemin had no intentions of dropping the gloves, but punched someone who would.
