When u said that SF is down for a millisecond...it wasn't...SF does not protect from AoE effects. Frozen Burst is AoE....and yea this run was nerfed...got my title doin it :P

Also this is why Normal Mesmer Tomes are now only worth 100-200g

It's a staff, and any staff with enchanting plus 20% and some energy will work. I don't have extra ones lying about.

Random drop. I think I got it as an end chest gold in a CoF run and just modded it.

It's an Insightful Staff of Enchanting. The skin is a Dolyak Prod Staff. I'm using an air based one since I'm using air magic. 20% enchant is needed. Everything else is + energy.

why does the hard mode option not come up for me in the starting town? for some reason it stays on easy and there is no hard or normal button coming up :S and also, if u select hard mode.. do more enemies appear on map because i dont have half as many vateirs as you do.

Hard mode is only accessible to level 20 characters. Also, you have to have completed EOTN with one of the characters.

I don't think HM adds any characters, but I haven't tested it. It is supposed to just make them a few levels higher. There are 60 Vateirs in my video.

Yea, it's annoying when it hits. I just learned it yesterday and had 2 successful runs. the bombing is easy but i have trouble in the nornheart domains.

Shadow form wasn't off when you got hit. Your health would have massively dropped. You were hit by frozen burst. Which hits through SF.

Yeah... I can't figure out why it goes through shadowform... now I've learned to avoid them altogether.

Well, the point is, SF causes spells and attacks to fail WHEN THEY ARE AIMED AT YOU. but Frozen burst is not aimed at you, but to every foe in the area. Thats why SF doesnt interrupt it. They just activate it when you are close to them, and that way, you suffer from the AoE damage.
