  • i was hoping a motor like this would go into a fox! great choice. love the motor !

  • I also have a 351 but it's not stroked. Bored .030 over with a 276 cam, 1.7 roller rockers, and flat top pistons. What would you recommend for a carb? I plan on supercharging it this summer and need to know how much I need to save up and what size/brand I should buy. I've been looking at some Holley supercharger carbs but they all say they're for roots style and what supercharger my dad has is a centrifugal style.

  • @blindskater200 well then ur gonna have to find a carb for a blow thru setup... im not very familiar with that setup but ive seen them a descent amount of times. i think the last one i saw, the guy had a modified holley dominator that he used in his blow thru setup with a vortech centri blower.i also see alotta people using a C&S blow thru carburetor.... just do some research online and you'll be set, good luck!

  • Why did you use the box instead of a bonnet?

  • what kinda supercharger is this??

  • I have a 408w N/A that I have been running this summer but I am looking to supercharge it. The problem I have 6.200" rods in the thing with compression of 11:1. So I was curious. Your stroke is 4" so what is your rod length, piston dish volume, head compression chamber size, and gasket thickness? I would like to get around your compression ratio.

  • @moosetang58

The stroke is 4", piston vol is 32cc, head chamber is a 62cc or 65cc. Not sure the gasket thickness but I used cometic metal gaskets. I also used comps part # 35-775-8 cam which is a Hyd cam with .579 total lift.

    Hope this helps!

  • @jsusisaliv What piston are you using in this build that has a 32cc dish?

  • thats what you call a one run done motor....

  • NOPE!

Been driving the car for a year now on the street. Also had it down the track 14 times so far and no signs of wear yet!

  • @chevy490 What do you think it is? A chevy? Joking :)

  • @chevy490 stupid chevy fan, ford is built to last your just pissed cuz this will smoke alot of chevys easy

  • @chevy490 its a ford engine not a chevy

  • CHI heads, world products block, and a 410 stroker kit = 699hp @ 6500 rpm.

It is possible Jon Kaase did it to win Engine Master's challenge

  • Is this a stroker or standard stroke? If standard, those are some great numbers for 10psi. What is your compression? Also, it would be cool to see some chassis dyno numbers and see how much it takes off. Any idea what tranny you will run?

  • It is a 408 stroker, Compression is 8.5.1. Tranny is a TKO 600 modified by MMR. All the gears and shaft have been cryo treated for superior strength and deburred for smoother shifting.

  • Are you confident the stock block will handle this power consistently?

  • No I am not confident that the stock block would hold up that is why it is not a stock block. It is a 4 bolt dart block :-)

  • cant wait to see this baby in the car!

  • It's actually in the car now just doing the wiring and fuel system. I will post a vid of it in the car once its done

  • It is in the car but we are still working on the drivetrain ETC. No nothing is left stock and everything has either been replaced or beefed up. The car should run in the 9's in a 1/4 mile once it's finished.

  • VERY NICE!

So have you got it in the car yet? Thats alot of power in a mustang. What have you done to the car? Hope you don't have stock tranny and crap cause you will break everything in the car. I heard those T&L engines will run like hell... Good luck and keep us posted.

  • BTW.

I will post a vid of it in my car once it is finished!!!
