All these comments about which force is better. Every nation has its strong and weak points. The USA has a lot of money and lots of people willing to become soldiers. This means that not all of them are at the same standard, and there is a big gap between standard forces and higher trained ones. In the UK (where I'm from), our military hasnt got that much cash, and is quite small, but that makes it more elite, especialy those units that are meant to be elite (Royal Marines, PARAs etc).
Marines need to step up their training. Bootcamp tan belt shit aint shit, and that is all thats required. I was a green belt instructor, which was moderate, but the thing is Marines get to choose how far they go. It should be mandatory for all Marines to get at least green belt, now certain mos do require certain belts, but thats bullshit cuz regardless of ur mos, ur a Marine number 1

Training at Quantico is OCS (Officer Candidacy School) and TBS, however these LTs already graduated OCS making them (boot) officers, not recruits. They are Marines, not soldiers. Women will and do get sent to combat, just not in Combat Arms MOS. Sorry to pop everyones moto bubble, I just get annoyed at misinformation in my beloved corps :)

I planned on joining the airforce and when i went to talk to the recruiter he was in his BTU's and talking to his friend on his cellphone.... i walked out after 10 min of it. and called My Marine recruiter who drove 2 hours in his tan and blues and talked to me for about 2hours... The Camaraderie is definitely there with Marines

believe me we dont advertise all of the training we give our Marines.
Marines are elite combat force, and i understand what the Marine said about the airforce. I planned on joining the airforce and when i went to talk to the recruiter he was in his BTU's and talking to his friend on his cellphone.... i walked out after 10 min of it. and called My Marine recruiter who drove 2 hours in his tan and blues and talked to me for about 2hours... The Camaraderie is definitely there with Marines

@NEWYORKJETS52 they probably use ear-plugs (i think thats what they're called, you nkow, the (probably most common) yellow or orange colored spongy thing they push into their ears), it lowers sound levels by about 20 decibels, which can make the difference between losing hearing, damaging hearing (like just about every noise probably) and not damaging it (much)

@TheGunner1324 Every country has their speciality training. Each country trains the others to try to perfect the allegiance as a whole. The goal is to have each country as strong as the other to help all the same when it comes time for it to matter. Talking shit about other countries and trying to say how great your country is? In WWII no one did that. We work as whole to come out on top. NO SINGLE COUNTRY can try to take claim for any victory or brag about their capabilites.

Guerilla warfare was primarilly taught by them. As for the training side (once again) I've worked with brits and the rest of the span of other countries. They train with us we train with them. It would be ignorant to state that one country solely trains the other.

Delta Force did with the help of intelligence spooks in the 101st. and what the fuck is this shit about D-Day being a Canadian/British operation? that would have been a total clusterfuck without us, and you know it. we even took the hardest beaches like Omaha. we mainly took out france and swept through germany, at this point you guys were more in a supporting role.
