Pretty cool, but going around slopes like that on the side is the challenge though is it not? I was in Switzerland a couple of years ago and saw them mowing grass on the sides of what looked like grassy cliffs. One guy even had a young child riding on the tractor! I bought a tracked Baroness in Japan after that, a fantastic machine, but my farm is flat!
Hi! Yes, you are right. This isn't really steep for this kind of vehicle and the traction on this concrete slope is much better than in real conditions. Normally, they use this slope only to test if the brakes, the differential locks (front, center, rear) and the whole drivetrain works properly. I drove this Terratrac up just for fun ;)
As you said, those vehicles are mainly designed to mow grass in very steep terrain as we have much here in switzerland. Other applications are...
