I heard the strings come in and I was standing in front of a cooling fan at that moment... my god such an intense sound, I'd never heard textures in hard house before or since... loved every second of it :)
Club in Grays Inn Road? I think you mean Turnmill's on Clerkenwell Road, and you were probably at Trade, one of the most famous clubs in the world. lol
@177Apollo No, I used to go to either Sunnyside Up in the SW1 or the Chunnel Club, various events at Bagley's Kings Cross, There was a place somewhere under some arches, just south of Tower Bridge (but before you got to Elephant and Castle), and this little club which was in a basement in Grays Inn Road, which was below an Argos or something) - they used to have random Hard House nights on down there - aah the memories, thrills, pills, and belly aches.. good times!! Quite a few others too..
@TheSaintST1 There was Brixtons 414 Club- oddly I'd been there on a few non-hard house nights and bumped into the Basement Jaxx! - There was also a night or a club called Cool Eddie's - does anyone remember that one??
