  • ELO...even their logo ROCKS

  • This song and others of its era Quite Clearly Blow Me Away....

  • @Velocity9s Now that you mention, it got my attention.

  • @no1elofaniknow Well put! On top of that, I never reckoned for more then a second that this song would be so AWE-SOME (AWE-some-->sing it like the backing vocals)!!

  • cool man!!!!!

    awesome man!!!!

  • awesome man! :-)

  • Brilliant song

  • Here is the news from france. This song is so surprising, and may have done a hit if it was published at the time.Nice cellos passages. The beginning of the song reminds me a song from the Wings,"Jet",of the album Band on the run.Fantastic Jefff lyne!!!!!!!

  • This song sounds like a Broadway number to me. That's not a bad thing, but an artistic thing. I get the image of very flexible male and female dancers writhing around on a fog-filled stage.

  • Did Louis Clark arrange the strings on this lost gem? One his best in any event.

  • Does the beginning of this song remind anyone else of the Wings song Jet just a little bit?

This is so far my fav ELO lost gem.

  • @Tobanaman Bingo it's Wings!

  • One of my favourite lost gems that have started turning up. I just love this! Superb!

  • My first time hearing this. Like much of ELO, challenging, demanding more listens, but it's quality is obvious.

  • Awesome song.

  • Thanks for posting this, great song from a real genius.

  • I don't think this is early eighties... the guitar sounds like Out of the Blue-ish to me... I could be wrong... but the echo on Jeff's voice sounds that way too. LOVE IT EITHER WAYYY.

  • SIMPLY BLOWN AWAY BY THIS ty for such an awesome post i love it TY JOE ONE OF THE BEST SHARES EVER WOW

  • I like this song.

    Was this originally meant

to some ELO- album in early 1980 ´s ?

Like those other "unreleased tracks "

    in Flashback.

  • Go to iTunes and google-in ELO Helpless; there should be a corresponding album it should have been released on. btw, sad about passing of Kelly Grocutt.

  • I like it.

  • pretty good visuals until 2:34 you showed The Orchestra (ELO part II)

  • True. I wanted an updated pic of Jeff Lynne and the other ELO members toward the end of the video. Not sure if that was a good choice or not though?

  • It was a good choice, they are just as good.

  • It's just that the writing on the picture says "Electric Light Orchestra" while it isn't.

  • Sorry, but ELO part II does not belong here in my humble opinion. It is nice to see Kelly at anytime. The ELO version which included him will always be the best ELO version. I saw a video of him on a cooking show with him and Roy Wood a little while ago... it was a total riot and a awesome tribute to them both.

  • Pretty good song from Flashback
