You missed a couple of notes on the progression part,but for an untrained ear is almost unperceptive. Anyway,well done.I think it would be a problem, though, to play it on a stage and in standing position.The best parts are slides,almost every guitar player uses bending on that part - your way is much easier and sounds awesome. By the way,the difference between a guitar player and a guitarist is:guitar player covers while guitarist makes music! peace

I'd also wager it's MUSICIANS that make music, and you'd be better off further delineating a creative writing process from the instrument and it's contstraints/patterns. I'd rather not be a guitarist. Lastly, i use both bends (1:44) and slides (2:01) because i don't like repeating things exactly :p

Today so many guys want to play like Yngwie,and some of them are almost as good as him, but none of them will ever be as popular as him,because he created something new,and they're only copycats.The same is with Satriani,Batio etc. When I said slides I was thinking on the part at the end of the solo. But yes,musicians make music,not just guitarists

Yes, it's a pinch harmonic. The thing with pinch harmonics i think people forget sometimes is that you can put different levels of the harmonic on them. Sometimes i try to just put the harmonic in barely so the fundamental is still clearly audible. I do it a few times in this vid (the two notes at 1:46 as another example). It's really fun to sneak those in sometimes :D

This video, and most In Flames, i play with my guitar tuned to E standard, with a low B for the 7. I don't play it the way the band does, as i transpose it so the "root" is the B on my 7. Here the song is pitch shifted down to B from C so it matched my guitar, and i played along. The guitar is an Ernie Ball/Music Man John Petrucci signature, with piezo and matching headstock. It's one of the original versions, as i got the guitar back around 2001 or so. I also don't use or have tabs, sorry :p

Yeah, it's alternate picking. The two lower notes are palm muted, the high is not. With practice that kind of playing will become second nature. It took me a bit to understand what you meant haha. I used to play metallica to death as a young teenager and they do a lot of 'on off' muting. For this one, you would have to be an epic downpicker to do the verse with all downstrokes haha.
