When she steps outside in the morning after it's all over, that's Nancy's dream. Her friends are still dead. She's alive in part 3.

In part 2 Freddy's Revenge, They find Nancy's diary even though they don't show her writing in it in this one and it explains that she went to sleep after Freddy jumped back in the dream world when you think he died.

I get the ending now. Nancy stopped believing in Freddy and so Freddy was sent howling back to hell. Freddy needed a gateway to keep from going back to hell. Knowing he couldn't touch Nancy, he trapped her so she couldn't save her mom. Her mom still feared Freddy even though she acted like he was dead and gone. If you noticed in ANOES 4, nancy's mom grave isn't there which means her body disappeared. marge died in her sleep. So it was nancy mom's dream at the end of the movie. nancy knew this.

Dude I used to be so scared of this movie..lol. I was scared to take a bath becuase I thought Freddy Krugar would come out of the Drain...LOL. You should tell your brother that Freddy is gonna come out the drain while he is taking a bath...Trust me he will be terrified.

I always loved Nancy because she survived the original. It shows that she figured it out on her own how to stop Freddy without anyone elses help, unlike the other survivors of the sequels. I find respect for the final characters of the original horror movies.

The obvious telling that it is Marge`s dream is that Nancy would be fighting her way out of the car, not banging on the windows screaming,"Mother!" ha that was great. I have never seen this before but for some reason I have always liked Freddy. Like I went to the Asylum haunted house last night and gave him hug :)
so now I have seen it. That is probably the only 80s horror flick that is worth watching. I love how he giggles when he chases you lmao, what kind of bad guy does that.
The ending was awesome, even though I saw it coming.
I watched Halloween last night, which was retarded. I liked this movie :D

Nancy didnt need a team of dream warriors to defeat him, she kicked his ass all on her own! and without powers! cant believe she died in 3, at least she died fighting and defeating him. dream warriors is my second fav! :)
