@monteron007 My gaming adventure began with the ZX Spectrum, all good things in my life began with the Speccy. =) We should make a petition to Nintendo and Microsoft and perhaps Sony about that. =)
@monteron007 "Why doesn't nintendo or x-box bring out all the old speccy games?" Mainly because they are UK centric although some were known in America. Having said that Codemasters are releasing these games on iPhone. Spellbound has just been released.
Best all round version of Dizzy 3- the ZX 128k version. This music really suits and does the game justice. The c64 version for some reason used the same music score as the c64 version of Fast Food. The Cpc version used this track aswell but because it was a port, the CPC version was very slow, and used a weird colour pallette aswell. Spectrum 128 for dizzy 3 - even the 16 bit versions didnt come close!
@paulisthebest3uk Absolutely agree with you. This was perfection, just a wonderful game and for me the best Dizzy game ever and you are right, Fantastic Dizzy on the Mega Drive is nowhere near as good as this. I really wish the C64 version did not share the same music as Fast Food, it sounds a bit abstract really and almost takes the adventure feel away from the game, well play this version with the Fast Food music like I did and you'll see what I mean.
The PC versions of Dizzy 3, 4 and 6 redefined my gaming tastes forever into the adventure/puzzle side. Mainly because it was also a cool platformer, and twitch games of various sub-genres were the only ones I played back then. They're still cool, but I possibly wouldn't even try puzzle games if not for Dizzy 4 on PC. I literally owe over half of my current gaming library to those three games.
Now they aren't in my "best ever" list, but they're still in the "really really good" list. :)
Just on the off-chance - would you happen to remember a covertape from either Crash or YS back in the day which included a big 'megademo' music jukebox which had Jean-Michel Jarre on it, for one? (it also had a great raster-effect border going on during loading, or just after it finished loading!)
Just forever been trying to find it cos at the time the music sounded great and just curious =D
@MapleStoree - Jesus I remember I had that for the spectrum, it takes me back. Wish I had kept my spectrum and games. I remember I had that magademo and I used to load it just to hear all the music, think Mozart was on it too.
I remember my ZX Spectrum. they were the days. Why doesn't nintendo or x-box bring out all the old speccy games?
All on one CD would be nice.

To e the first part of this music almost sounds like a funny western type tune, still a nice song tho.
