Just read that Paul McCartney based the tune for "blackbird" on this. He learned it as a kid so we have this to thank for the tune and picking style on "Blackbird", "Mother Nature's Son" and "Jenny Wren". Amazing really.

Bach isn't supposed to convey any emotion, this is music in its purist, most distilled form; pure musical expression. Stravinsky famously said that emotion has nothing whatsever to do with music, and i think, to a degree, he was right.

The music of Bach is widel regarded for its intellectual power and beauty because of its 'robotic' qualities. The fact remains that this wasn't conceived as something emotional. But what's wrong with something without emotion? It is still deeply profound and beautiful music.

That's not true, you need tips, for example, I used to play by my self and now I'm taking lessons and I'm correcting a lot of mistakes I used to have. There's a proper way to play guitar and sometimes it differs from the way that turns out most comfortable when you pick it up for the first time. One thing is just playing a few chords and saying "look at me, I can play" and another one is playing it for real.
