  • is it necessary for CB amphibians and reptiles to hibernate? i mean usualy with the tank heating and room temp outside, the temperature stays the same all year round... :-/

  • @NicKtheGreeK1100 its not necessary,how ever if the tegu feels the need to he will hibernate,and once they get there minds set on it,theres no changing it. Tegu hibernation is more so a instinct that a seasonal thing,keep it hot or cold as you want when the time comes if your tegu wishes to hibernate he will do so and its important you watch temps closely during this time. I could go on for days about this,but have a limited amount of space on the comment,inbox me if you want to continue
