whats the difference between a 24pin main connect and a 20+4pin main connector?

@xy274 a 20+4 pin works on both a 20 pin and 24 pin motherboard.

@GreatNovaVideo oh thank god...i just ordered a psu with 20+4pin main connector. i thought it wouldn't work with my motherboard. thanks man.
