I love Lalah with all my heart...I have ALL of her albums...same with Will Downing...I don't care if they come out with old Sesame Street/Schoolhouse Rock songs on an album...I'm going to buy it. I just don't like the fact that Rashaan is sitting so close to my woman...lol
I'm so not a happy person right now. let me eat my ben and jerry's ice cream and try watching real musicians later. It just pisses me off that i can't turn on the radio and the tv and just be consumed with beautiful music. WTF!
Simply because I love music. I can't and don't sing, I just listen to and feel music. Just to expereince real music is satisfying enough for me. And right now I'm feeling like my generation is being gypped. These two are about real music they're not singers, but musicians. I can't listen to and feel what many of the artist of my generation her putting out today and that F*%$ing sucks! I'm tired of freakum dresses and checking on me and the rest of that bu$lsh*t.
the last message I wrote in the wrong box. Apparently i don't read, i don't comment very often, or I'm blind as hell so i missed the instructions. Anyway, I just wanted to say to everyone else watching LahandRah that I'm profoundly disappointed...
I'm only 24, so lalah hathaway is a tad bit ahead of me, but i truly love her voice. It is distinctive and one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. I saw her perform the song forever, for always, for love on the monique show and then I bought her last 2 albums.
I love how the both of you have so much admiration for eachother! Lalah's first album touched me in special way also. Her voice, music helped me get through some depression while I was in undergrad. Both of you are terrific!
