  • Well, Fed was just coming off the loss to Rafa at Wimbledon, and yeah, his forehand was REALLY off that night. Not that you can really tell from the highlights, but since i was there, after Gilles won the second set, the crowd totally wanted him to win. Amazing upset.

  • Boy Federer really stunk up the place with his play.

  • Well Simon won the match..Just accept it! Federer is amazing and everything but Geez give simon a little credit.."oh federer beat himself: "oh no one is gonna remember this" blah blah...This is madness!

  • VINTAGE FEDERER:D

  • Amazing how many pepople don't understand tennis. Federer defeat himself? lol it's not Simon's fault that Federer does errors, SImon did his game, keep the ball in game, attack when its needed and great defense. Federer lost because of Simon not because of his errors, don't take the credit out of Simon he deserved it, and Simon did eerrors too so ur comments to defend the ALL MIGHTY Federer pffff. Simon u deserved it and ur a great player too bad ur down now cause u had potential. Learn to write

  • federer beat himself. he's been doing that more lately, not because his opponent really deserved it.

  • Roger defeated himself.

  • Simon is the biggest flash in tennis history.

  • @Rafathaman94 Define flash.

  • @MaratSafinVideos Flash meaning fluke.

  • @Rafathaman94 Then you'd have to define fluke, too, because Simon's beaten Federer twice and almost had him beat at the Australian Open. You've obviously not been watching tennis for very long if you think Simon is the biggest flash in the pan ever.

  • @MaratSafinVideos I was exaggerating about him being the biggest fluke ever, but I still consider him a fluke. He's done very little since 2008. Sure he pushed fed in the Australian Open, but he's done almost nothing to back that up. I've been following tennis since 2005 and Simon's one of the most boring players I've ever seen. He's almost weaponless.

  • @Rafathaman94 Simon had very considerable injuries in 2009 and 2010 with his knee and it's not easy to regain form when you rely so heavily on movement. Well, the whole tour is rather boring in this day and age with homogenized surfacing and what not and Simon is actually one of the few players, whom when up against tricky opponents, can play with variation and intelligence, however he is certainly prone to pushing but who isn't these days?

  • @MaratSafinVideos I do agree that there is too much pushing nowadays. Playing at the baseline is ok to a certain extent. But things are getting out of hand this year. We've had so many slugfest matches this year. And if you see rallies like this /watch?v=N8iunyDh4ms you know something is wrong. And congrats to Marat BTW!

  • Federer was pissed

  • fuck off federer, when he starts losing he starts crying and getting upset piss off.

  • @pikepike555 He could care less about Toronto...in 10 years, no 5 years, who's gonna even remember who won it? What people will remember is who won the slams.

  • @hattrickster33 Real tennis fans easily remember who has won such tournaments 10 years ago. And it's 'couldn't care less' by the way.

  • フェデラーはバックが強い相手に弱い

  • STILL A GOAT !!!

    best ever !

    GO ROGER !

he will win a WImby this year for sure !!

  • its not the refs fault.. calm down federer and finish the job..

  • 5:55 Kind of a Rafael Nadal Point

  • this was federer's worst year i dunno y he wasnt great (still much better than an ordinary player) in 2008 but is good in 2009 and 2010! Cant really blame glandular fever for the whole year could you? Doesnt matter now FEDERER RULES!

  • Can' believe he lost this. Concentration slipped and Simon's consistency was too much. I want them to play a rematch.

  • They did play a rematch after Toronto, didn't you see that Master Cup match? Simon won that one too.

  • I did take that into account, but I didn't mention it.

  • do somebody know, are there any other player won over federer and have not lost to him except Simon?

  • There aren t... only Simon, has defeated and not lost against Roger, The others are Squilari 2-0 and Lucas Arnold Ker 1-0(both from argentina and both retired now...)

  • I think Simon is the only one, but Nadal has a 2:1 win:loss ratio against Federer... Basically Nadal leads 36:18 I think

  • Also, Patrick Rafter, Sergi Bruguera, Medvedev, Jan Siemerink, Kenneth, Andrea Gaudenzi and Black compiled a combined perfect winning record of 9-0 against Federer...

  • He's at least better than you.

  • Comment removed

  • there's a lot of this in 09 now... :(

  • Great share. tnx

  • yeah, great quality man, thanks a lot

  • Wow! what a rally from 5:45 to 5:58!

  • another lucky winner of the "Federer Match Giveaways"

  • True. Who isn't humble when they win, Muhammad Ali and Anthony Mundine aside. Tone down on the exclamation marks but.

  • your saying that federer who's won 13 grand slams, who was world number 1 for a record 234 weeks is overrated?????? he is one of the best tennis players ever! how can u say hes overrated? everyone makes excuses when they lose, haven't you ever player sport before?

  • u got tat wrong he IS the best tennis player ever

  • yeah, you're right. how could anyone say he's overrated? i think he's underrated. the guy is getting to grandslam finals and semis with mono. if we had mono, we'd miss 2 months of work/school just laying in bed

  • he gears his schedule towards the majors, tournaments your career his based on.

    noone remembers the masters series

hes only got a losing record in slams to nadal, noone else

  • Who's your daddy? pfffff It's Simon :)

  • lol

  • Haha, Federer had 3-1 and a break point in the deciding set? How could he lose that match..

  • federer say umpire why one espectator talking.

  • At 1:08, what in the world happened with Fed's forehand? Bizarre.

  • because of the judge line he was deconcentrate, he got right it was in but no challenge remains, the umpire sucks so much; Fed should have won, and i'm french!

  • what does Federer say to the umpire at 7.24?

  • After that missed challenge, Simon took the advantage.

    Great highligts, Mark.

  • thank you.

  • first view o.O
