The guy was using a LaFonera router, most likely with Jasager firmware on it. It allows him to convince other WiFi devices that he is a trusted router (say the WiFi at their house).

The guy in this vid is using wi-fi to hack into phones, but be aware that there are also a number of blue-tooth hacks out there as well - which allow hackers to make calls using your celphone ID/number, turn your phone off/on and many other nasties.
These high tech devices are useless when it comes to protecting your identity and the identities of others. I dont even trust my computer using or holding my Personal information. that's why whenever i buy stuff online i use a pre-paid card that you could put money in it not a credit card or other cards that requires credits or personal information!!! And i use a low tech computer that was personally customized and use high protective firewall!!! But still intruders can lurk in any time!!!
