My city is far too big, I feel, to actually get time to talk to my Mayor. Plus why would a Mayor with 70,000 people to take care of want to talk to one 17 year old? How weird would that be, though, to have a job that literally is to make sure thousands upon thousands of people are, in general, taken care of.

Montana truly is full of do-gooders. My family was road-tripping to Yellowstone and we had oil problems which meant we would overheat every kilometer or so, not only was there water at every single highway pull off, but at least five people would stop and make sure we were alright. I like your major. We don't have a major. We have a town council, which normally doesn't do much, but my dad recently ran for and won a seat, so at least I have a way of finding out information on what they aren't doing. I do wish people would get more involved with their local governments, though. It's nice to see that Missoula has an official that is amiable and relatively open.
