This movie is great. I loved this monologue because all he says might very well be true... I like how he is pointing out everything I've always thought about as well. After all, what DO we know about the thing called "God"? Belief is an idea that must be first learned, understood, and then gained (accepted) It is not possible to prove a negative [that something does not exist] but it is logical to assume it does not exist until proven otherwise. This movie is great. I loved this monologue because all he says might very well be true... I like how he is pointing out everything I've always thought about as well. After all, what DO we know about the thing called "God"? It's not like we know what God really is thinking (or whether he really exists for that matter) :P This just proves that you can see everything in a different light if you're willing to use your head a bit.

I believe in God as seen in nature (which He created :p) "Survival of the fittest", "the weak will die" etc. Those are the rules He set and that's the best testimony of what He wants (if you ask me).

Otherwise it is razed as an unnecessary hypothesis by Occam's Razor. Not believing in something is the default state, especially if you've never heard of the object in question. Belief is an idea that must be first learned, understood, and then gained (accepted) It is not possible to prove a negative [that something does not exist] but it is logical to assume it does not exist until proven otherwise. Seeing as it's not possible to prove a negative, claiming others can't do so doesn't help your argument whatsoever. It defies logic.
