@mrjonathond I don't feel the media blew it up as much as they are accused of. They reported the news, thats their job. When they'd go and ask lets say Jay Z how he felt, he responded. Then when Pac heard what Jay Z said he responded. Thats the way beef works. I think the media gave it too much attention, but at the same time, their job is to report the news and lets face it violence and sex and beef sells. It definately helped both labels sell records.

Pac had more passion, more heart, and I think if given the time, he could've improved beyond belief lyrically. But BIG's wordplay was unbelievable. I highly doubt Bad Boy was starving. They were making money off of the beef, probably not as much as Death Row, but they were making money. Neither one of these labels were "starving."

@mrjonathond I don't feel the media blew it up as much as they are accused of. They reported the news, thats their job. When they'd go and ask lets say Jay Z how he felt, he responded. Then when Pac heard what Jay Z said he responded. Thats the way beef works. I think the media gave it too much attention, but at the same time, their job is to report the news and lets face it violence and sex and beef sells. It definately helped both labels sell records.

Something that taken way outta line and being jotted and talked about constantly. @wavez9 Let me say first, I am a huge Pac fan, probably my favorite artist of all time, but fact is I think Biggie, was probably lyrically better. Pac had more passion, more heart, and I think if given the time, he could've improved beyond belief lyrically. But BIG's wordplay was unbelievable. I highly doubt Bad Boy was starving. They were making money off of the beef, probably not as much as Death Row, but they were making money. Neither one of these labels were "starving."
