hello there, i have a question cause im just a beginner and i cant really understand each specs of the speedlight.. but which one can you recommend for me. this YN 560 or the Nissin di622 mark II? plz advise. tnx =)
I was planning to use this for capturing soccer/basketball game sport shots using a 50-105 mm zoom lense. Do you think it would be good even though manual? I suppose you can experiment a bit with the power to get it right? thank you
hi nice review but not sure why you paid almost twice the pice for it. the retail should be around $85 AUD, I got mine of mp4kingdom and I have also checked Ebay
@aaronmdunlap I Imagine that if I were using these with triggers and doing more off-the-camera flash work, it probably would be a great flash right.........humor me and tell me it is :)
@kellyhuffaker is is, other than the problems described below. if you're doing anything more than just family shots, i'd go with a canon flash. this is a fine unit for a hobbyist though.
After a couple of days I started getting missfires, sometimes had to take 3 pictures before getting one flash to emit even with fresh batteries and the ready light ok, may change it for the YN-468.
@aaronmdunlap I sent it back today asked to exchange it for YN-468, keep you up to date, kind of dissapointed this flash had good potential, hope the 468 will be trouble free...
Thank you for doing this review, I have been looking at this flash for 2 weeks on the net and after listening to your review I ordered it, thanks again.
@jcorbman no problem. trying to get all the stuff out there that other reviews haven't. i just posted another vid showing the overheat protection kicking in.
@aaronmdunlap please update the description from "New Project 1" to a more meaningful review (instead of hunting through these comments for one), especially about how it performed for you and that you returned for the YN-468. How has that been? Great walk through, thanks for testing and sharing!
do you recommend it?

Built in bounce card, built in diffuser, swivels in both directions, ridiculous recycle times, why did I even by my Vivitar 285HV?!

What makes this better than the YN-460 II? I can't seem to tell the difference. Will this work automatically on the hotshoe of my Nikon dSLR?
