I don't think we ever find the author of the holotapes and the prisoner Jingwei executes is a random soldier. One fun fact about Operation Anchorage is if you remove the helmets of the soldiers they all have the same face and hair style!
The voice kind of sets the story, being a message from her husband. It's a voice recording you can find inside several locked locations in Anchorage.
At any rate, the video was superb from beginning to end. The part where Molly shoots the general before he executes her husband was just perfect. Bravo on your work.
