  • When was this filmed?

  • beautifull movie

  • I have just known that animal can dream too...

  • The big bear is like, You droppin' pinecones you little bastard? Come here so I can kick your little bushy tailed ass.

  • It's amazing how it's cries sound almost human.

  • I'd eat that lil' bear. Yummmm....

  • bud...weis...er

  • Freaky dream sequence. I have this movie on DVD, and the dream sequence is a little less freaky than this upload. Why so different?

    A little fun fact:

The animator of the frog nightmare sequence was Bretislav Pojar. If anybody likes to watch the National Film Board of Canada shorts, this is the guy who did Balablok. I watched this short a long time ago, and I just found out that this guy was the brains of the nightmare sequence. Wow!!!

  • i have this movieeee

and i didnt even know it

  • @ baroo12 and we hate you too... and THESE arent hunters, theyre poachers... they give hunters a bad name... REAL hunters use all of the kill that they can... not just the hides. when i am hounded by the stinkin' peta i say that i am not the criminal... its the sumbitches who give me a bad name, and the ones who hate the good named ones that are evil... hunters play an important part in the enviorment... we control population, without us, the animals would outeat themselves, and starve!!!

  • @chuckmangionefan18 That is oldest excuse that hunters used that they will outeat themselves and they will will starve that is so not true , hunters kill because they enjoy it , they do not care about animals.

  • 1:10 is that what you see when you are High?

  • @Wow6488 Not by weed atleast.

  • i hate hunters

  • @barroo21 hey, hunters just trying to do their thing, like everyone else. although hunters who wound the animals need to fix their aim or ge shot themselves, the dumbasses

  • The cub looks so real.

  • It is real.

  • lol i remember this dream man eversince i been having wierd dreams like it

  • so cute is the bear...

  • Totally updated nightmare-frogs!!! xD

  • I did already. no go.

    but thanks...

  • I love this movie!! does anyone know where I can find it?

i've tried all the sites...nowhere am i able to purchase it...

  • @salanco Try Amazon

  • @salanco You can find it on Amazon. All the bears are real, trained to act from cub to adult by some wonderful people. No animal was harmed in the making of this entire film. Incredible acting and all from the animals' points of view - only one that does, from all films I have seen, ever nature shows.

  • @Rapappport hey if no animals were harmed what about the end scene?

  • @WestSide6214 It was Bart the bear - a great trained actor. The red wound was bogus - not really shot. I hear you but he wasn't hurt - it was "special effects". All of this movie - nowhere, no time - had no animals except fish get hurt, harmed or killed.

  • @WestSide6214 I remember on the last scene of the movie, the bear cub got scratched by the cougar but, he probably wasn't hurt that badly. Then once his friend the adult grizzly bear scared the cougar away, both bears went into a cave to hibernate for the winter.

  • How did they stage and film these scenes?

  • it's strange how certain scenes gave common feelings to a lot of people - i also remembered this scene after i saw the movie when i was a kid, and i scared myself the hell out too

  • I always wondered why those little bears in Morozko were picking the mushrooms. :)

  • FROGS!!!!!!!!!!! UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! (1:00 to 1:29)

I'm a bit of a ranidaphobic, batrachophobia myself so that scene freaked me out, too!

  • I don't think that you would find a 1500 pound bear in the Rockys. Although Bart the bear clearly was that weight :).

  • @Rofrest I've shot a 1673 lb bear in the Rockies.

  • @cru1972 haha i had to laugh soo hard when i spotted your comment, i love this movie and then BAM! "i shot a 1673 lb bear" xD man even if this is another story it's still funny. but honestly i love this movie and bears ^^

  • @mostvaluableplayer2 When the cub gets stoned - and yes, animals do. Deer eating rotting apples with the alcohol fermentation, cats eating wild catnip, whoooooo knows what else?

It's part of the natural world, and animals are like us in that way!

  • @Rapappport haha ok, i just asked cuz it's such a dramatic and amazing story :-)

  • That dream sequence always freaked me out when I was a kid. Why am I saying "used to," it's still freaky!

  • @ReijiThePhantom Yes, it is freaky! It used to give me nightmares when I was a kid.

  • this movie is slow buts its fire

  • I wonder if they added the noises of a little kid to her, to make her seem more endearing, since she was a cub.

  • exactely what I was thinking...

  • sounds like a human baby weird :0

  • ahaha he gets hit in the head with an acorn xD the noise is funny

  • The frog dream is interesting and kind of funny in an unusual way too. lol :)

  • I just love the music in this movie. :)

    And the beautiful land,

    AND Bart. XD

  • also sounds like a human in a way.

  • Thats what i was thinking lol,

  • @deanwatkins26: Yes the Cub sounds a little kid a lot of the time.

  • this is a cool movie it's cute in a way

  • Yes it is. Cuz it's got bears in it, and other cute animals. :)
