Hi, most of the inspectors I deal with are great but like all trades, I have met a few that are tired. My favorite caulking is Sikaflex polyurethane sealant. (I recommend it so often I should be a rep for them). Nasty stuff if you get it on you but it definitely does the job well. I would rather spend a few extra dollars for it, then have to come back to correct something.
