LOL@ all the negative comments about chanters kiting/healing... A glad can easily out dps a chanter in a toe-to-toe fight and if you don't kite especially with something like unwavering devotion up then you risk being knocked down when you go to heal. only thing that makes chanters hard to kill is recovery spell.

@ramcraft nubah chanter isn't high DPS or DMG class. its HEALER (buffer) class what should she do? stand in a place and wait for 10sec to kill her? smart guy/girl won't do that unless you are lack of skills. chanter has 3 attck skills (w/o chains) wow... thats not true, most people are just dumb when it comes to knowing how to dw well, need to stack crit and get speed duals, need to weave normal and skill hits together all the time. It has some of the best over all dps in some situations. I'd say a good gladi should have a pole and DW and know how to and when to use the proper weapon.

just in case i have played an gladiator on beta and i must say to play with 2 swords instead of a polearm or a 2hand sword is stupid cause the burst dmg and dmg output is with a 2handed weapon higher then 2 slicing 1handed swords u do not make dmg in pvp its the same like in wow bc

Just because you're a glad doesn't mean you have to keep running at them and hope you're hp doesn't go down to 0. Try tricking them thats what i do. glads and sins are the tactical class of them game if you can learn how other class play what they might do then try to trick them and i know it sounds dumb but it works because most the ppl who play sourc,rangers, ETC think they can just kite and win so they're not taking you srsly.

there is no real point in a glad using their bow skill against a chanter. If they run away to shoot them with their bow the chanter can just heal him/herself. The bow in a glads hands doesn't do nearly as much as a rangers. So unless you're fighting a sorcerer or something there's no real point

there is a 2nd fight to this where i didnt put it online. the gladiator showed me all his gold gear. then i stood there, and it only took him 5 sec to turn my hp to 0.

in this c-aion i m in. I often see glad using duel wield for pvp when they are above lv40. I dont understand why.  but they dont 2h in pvp only in pvE.

my guess is that they do faster attacks and can equip 2 godstones.... and i guess they only can do 1 or 2 attack before i go kiting them again.

i am geared with healing+buff. u can check my gear at my other video. Your chain works with normal gladiators. This glad is full gold. There was a 2nd duel with him where he used charge right at the beginning, and his 1st attacked sucessfully knocked me over, and with his arial chains, I lost in less than 10sec without dealing 1 dmg

Good Video, I am curious why you were running out of range so often? My chanter is only level 17 atm in the beta here in the U.S. but for me most my damage is in melee so I can't run out of range so much. I realize the gladiator's strength would be in melee range but isn't the chanters as well?

i m just kiting him, not running out of range... That glad was wearing a full Abyss gold set.. As you can see there was a part where that glad arial me and took over 1/2 of my hp. if I dont kite him, i ll die in seconds. I only get close range to do a few hits if i sucessfully stun him
