  • "Pringles Newfangled Potato Chips (wink)"

  • I do remember this jingle back in the mid 70's. But never tried them until 1976 when Roy Clark endorsed them.

  • Bonnie Herman (The Singers Unlimited) is the lead vocalist.

  • @tcaddone Bonnie is the same singer who also sang the "MEAN MR. CLEAN" 1960's jingle! There's a connection!

  • @heine71 A P&G (Procter and Gamble for short) connection for Bonnie Herman of Pringles and Mr. Clean 1960's jingle fame, that is.

  • and State Farm (like a good neighbor, state farm is there)

  • I think this was mostly seen in the early 1970's rather than 1968.

  • @heine71 My father wrote, produced and directed this commercial in 1968. However, you are correct that the commercial ran nationally in the early 70's. Prior to 1970, Pringles were available in limited areas.

  • @tcaddone I think they were still in limited areas until at least 1974-1975.

Also: The voice over in the commercial is done by Danny Dark.
