Haha yeah, my gym has some horrible music! I feel no pressure on my knees at all doing these, however the burn I feel in my outer quad is incredible. The plates underneath the heels is to decrease the stress on the ankles, otherwise you could end up with a pretty severe achilles rupture.
At 1st I was like, 'did he really put this exercise to Run The World by Beyonce?!', then I realized it was playing in the gym lol! Awesome idea man, looks like a great finisher for legs, I never would've thought of this. Thanks for the share.
@hobman Nah, if you do this right, the stress will be predominately on your your posterior chain (hips and glutes.) Just make sure you sit back with it, the plates under your feet will help emphasis your quads.
