  • love this song

  • I HAD A BIG CRUSH ON JACKLYN SMITH WHEN I WAS 7 AND STILL DO! 1M 41

  • I think the prison guard with the weed & insect sprayer is enjoying her job far more than she's letting on.

  • This is possibly the single worst song I think I've ever been forced to listen to over and over and over again.

  • This song was played a lot day and night after it came out - I remember it well.

But it is a good 70's pop tune (number one song).

And by the way Farrah was hot - but Jaclyn Smith was hotter and still is hot!

And Jaclyn hasn't "lost it" yet (it's only been what....about 30 years!?!?!?!)

  • Awesome song....aweful waste of taters...

  • Great video ! Goes well with the song ....Arron Spelling really knew how to deliver class....or should I say ass.....then again maybe I shouldn't.

  • This is my all time favorite. Thanks so much for bringing all back to me. Wonderful job.

  • the undisputed POWER COUPLE of all time: Lee Majors & Farrah Fawcett

  • Why didn't they take the keys?

  • There was'nt an ANGEL in the bunch that was'nt some young mans fantasy. And all without being overly provocative. just plain ol" NATURAL beauty. Than ks for all the memories ladies!

  • Jaclyn Smith! Whatta babe!!!!

  • Farrah was the ultimate angel

  • <3 FarraH <3 you truly were an 'angel' thank you for all the entertainment and creeping into our hearts RIP

  • Is that Cheryl Ladd at 3:13? she was my favorite Angel!

  • @Kenebutch I met her when i was about 6 six years old...got to go into her trailer and talk to her for a second she was the sweetest person ever....real friendly

  • @Kenebutch

    no

  • @Kenebutch No

  • @Kenebutch Nope, that'd be a very young Kim Basinger.

  • 1:45 I guess the ladies are getting sprayed down with Chlordane to keep the bugs off their boobs :).

  • To all you pro wrestling fans (like myself) and now UFC fans: This was the #1 song in the USA when Brock Lesnar came into the world (July 12, 1977).

  • Super 8

  • This gives me nightmares!

  • Like Lee Majors said, she was an angel on tv, now she's an angel forever.

  • OMG!! I have not heard this since i was 12 years old. Let's see? The Bionic Man, Star Wars, Camero's, Bell Bottoms, Three's Company, long hot summers, Cheezy (yet cool songs) and hot and natural looking babes with those Ditto jeans on.

Btw this song kicks ass, especially groove, drums and synth bass line . Steve Gadd on Drums perhaps?

  • @MrVeesworld Good comment. I was 11 then... great memories. I completely forgot about Ditto jeans! Where the heck did those 34 years go?

Solid beat I agree, but I'd really be surprised if that was Gadd on drums.

  • @JP5466 Hey I checked. It was STEVE GADD!! And some of the Pacaro brothers where on it too.

  • @MrVeesworld Wow... I am surprised! Good ear Mr Vees. I'm a guitar player, so what do I know about drummers?

  • @JP5466 Yes man . I am a (pro) drummer, and self taught guitarist/bass player (wannabee). I listened to a lot of Steely Dan (the Aja album) with Gadd on it and could sense it was him.

Have you seen that live version of Gerry Wright's "My love is alive" on Midnight Special 1976? It was very cool seeing a young Pocaro on the Keys.

  • @MrVeesworld Nice. I'm sure I've seen it, but never knew Pacaro was playing keyboards on that tune. I need to get those on DVD. YT always tends to take Midnight Special performances down as soon people put them up... stupid copyright BS.

  • Fun song, great memories!

Oh my God! It looks like Kim Basinger at 3:12!

  • Fun song, great memories!

  • super 8<3

  • Facebook says I can't post this "Abusive"???

  • Hard to believe that Alan's 70 years old, already. He hit #1 in Billboard, 7-9-77. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! RIP, Farrah, my favorite Angel.

  • @TheAURIEMMA

true angles that can never be topped.

I must add Lindsay Wagner too

  • @tacomonster98 It's funny how most Angel fans also like Lindsey W... me too. Must be because they were both popular during the same exact time period.

  • radio Powerplay!! bester Fim!!

  • Still cant believe shes gone.....

  • @ossamotocross Yeah. I'm still trying to come to grips with Sophie Tucker's passing!

  • That female prison guard was really checking them out huh? That was cool, thanks!

  • I was a kid when this song was on the charts. And I'd always thought it an odd coincidence that it was big on the pop chats at the height of Charlie's Angels' popularity. I'd often wondered if the TV show was an inspiration for this song.

In any case, thanks for the upload. It brings back great memories.

  • This one will be in Hell's Top Ten for eternity. LAME as it gets. But Farrah was still a wonder.

That's Mary Woronov (of Rocky Horror fame) spraying the girls down. Those were the days. No implants, no extensions, no tattoo's. Natural beauty it it's finest.

  • @bent139 Totally agree what you said about Farrah and "natural" beauty.

I grew up on 70's music I do not think the song is bad. It was very popular '77... I still have the 45. I also like "Feelings"... that one really must make you puke -lol

  • Rest in peace Farrah.

  • Song def goes with the images... my fav episode too... "Angles in Chains" :o)

  • People say this song sucks but I bet your toe is a tappin' right about now.

  • i heard this on the radio today lol, i thought it was stevie wonder

  • RIP, David Doyle, and, of course, everybody's Angel, Miss Farrah! Billboard's 469th #1 hit of the rock era. God bless! Hugs to you, for postin' it. BTW, I'm NOT gay!

  • @DaveWollenberg BTW Did someone ask?

  • @Alikah1 No, but, it says in Romans 16:16, to greet each other with a holy kiss. God bless! Hugs to you!

  • I Love this song and the video-I used like Farrah !!!

  • I think most people said at the time that Farrah was the best looking of the three. I believe that a lot of that was due to the blonde hair, pretty smile, and of course the posters. Kate definitely had the most concervative look. But like @flenif2247 said they are all beatiful in their own way. No matter how you rate them, they are all very beautiful.

  • for Bobby. thank you for remembering that : )

    Lisa~

  • Angels in chains a great episode

  • its interesting how many women respond to the themes of this show.

  • This song reminds me of the summer of 1977, being a happy, carefree six year old. I was beyond in love with Charlie's Angels at the time. My whole world revolved around those three lovely ladies :)

  • Jaclyn Smith was the real hot one.

  • @cleverconnections Oooooooooooooooooooooooh yeah. Jaclyn = HOT.

  • i loved all the angels. sabrina was my favorite because she was the brainiest but i followed farrah's life since she was in charlie's angels. ryan o'neal captivated her but so terribly mistreated her. she deserved so much better.

i have the first few seasons and it's not only the women but men who are so much better looking - people were so much more natural. honestly i wish that all that plastic surgery crap would go. i don't like the way anyone looks anymore. hairless, tattoos, boob jobs, etc

  • one of my 70s favorite

  • Midnight Tennessee

  • Growing up on 70's TV who could ask for more?!! Charlie's Angels still rules...by far, how lucky was I to have female role models who were beautiful, strong, and smart! With class. Charlie's Angels rules! : )

  • RIP Farrah. I miss you Angel.

  • ilike it and rip farrahfawcettihope you are happy inheaven casue yuowasa angel down here

  • We miss you Farrah, RIP angle

  • Always thought Kate Jackson was the cutest!

  • they should bring back all the Charlies angels on Tvland

  • I'd forgotten how fine those angels were. My idea of utopia would be to be stranded on a desert island with Charlie's Angels! Great video with a great accompanying song.

  • Awesome video!

  • god bless her

  • young kimbasinger ????...well angels forever xD

  • I love my punani, but I have to say even as a 10yr old boy,Kate Jackson did absolutely zero for me.Still zero at 44yrs

  • @ba1428 Aw come on man... Kate was hot! The most beautiful eyes of all three.

  • Nice tribute.

  • Those girls were each attractive in their own way. And they did not have be wh*rish and have fake boobs to do it. Sad that people nowadays only respond to women as attractive if they are in porno poses and situations.

  • @flenif2247 Funny, that might be why Ayn Rand loved the dhow. Seriously, the semi-Fascist who wrote "Atlas Shrugged" was a massive fan.

  • @flenif2247 *Looks up excitedly* Did someone say porno pose?

  • @flenif2247 Not everybody nowadays thinks that way, at least I don't think that way.

  • Actually, they're not that attractive .. and all behave like bimbos! Jaclyn Smith is the best looking ...

  • Does anyone remember the episode "Consenting Adults" ? Farrah on the skateboard eluding the bad guy driving an icecream truck. She crashes through a picnic and finally latches onto the tailgate of a truck, the driver unknowingly drives around town with Farrah on the skateboard hanging on to his tailgate so calm. The bad guy crashed into a parked car. My favorite episode but enjoyed each one. I wish that she had held out for the entire run of Charlie's Angels. R I P Farrah.

  • I remember---classic!---love those angels...It seemed so much longer than one year with Farrah----what a true Angel!

I still have the trading cards.

  • Bless you Farrah - you live in our minds forever!

  • So what's going on in that towel scene? Why is she spraying them with what looks like something the bug exterminator would use?

  • All new arrivals in jail are (were?) de-loused, ie, sprayed or powdered to kill any lice or other bugs on them.

  • Farewell farrah. R I P

  • Farewell Farrah, you'll always be the undercover angel for billions

  • Well said. I'll never forget her.

  • People Magazine says Farrah said this was her favorite episode to film.

  • they don't make beauties like farrah and jackie anymore

  • This fantastic song reached #1 in 1977.

  • nicely done, thank you for the memories they were great.

  • I've always loved this song...listening it tonight was the perfect tribute to the wonderful Farrah Fawcett. Good bye BEAUTIFUL.

  • Good bye Farrah

you will be missed by me

  • great period song and vintage footage of charlies three dear angels [god rest miss fawcett] really ejoyed this

  • RIP Farrah Fawcett. Heaven's newest angel.

  • Farrah you will be missed

  • Alriiiiiiiight!

  • Jaclyn Smith, from 1976-1981, was always my "undercover angel" every night. God created the most beautiful woman in the world when Smith was born.

  • I was 10 when this song came out.

I spent the summer poolside with the older neighbor girl and her two friends.

They would dance every time this song came on the radio.

The smell of Coppertone and this song still get to me after all these years.

  • great song and the original angels too-nice!

  • Had the 45, had the Charlie's Angels bubblgum cards, got Farrah's autograph in 75 while she sat poolside in a bikini at The Shadow Mountain Resort in Palm Desert CA, had her poster on the wall. Jacklyn Smith still looks great. Thanks for posting.

  • Love the song, didn't like the video. I always thought Charlie's Angels was over rated.

  • LOL!

This show was big just when this song was on charts! I wondered if I was the only one who thought of the show when he'd heard the song...way back when.

  • Jaclyn Smith Man had such a thing for her

  • anyone know what this episode is titled?

  • Refreshing. Inspiring. Nicely done. Made my day. Thank you.

  • Great song with alot of great memories attached!

  • This song is ossim :D

  • There is a hidden HQ and stereo version here, but Youtube choose to hide it : (

  • that towel scene is s o hot. where's my kleenex box????

  • Kleenex box! hehehhehehehe XD

  • I love Charlie's Angels.

    Farrah is my favorite.

Thank you for posting this video with its really cool song.

I bought the record Undercover Angel when it first came out.

    Thanks for the memories!

    Oh those many memories!!

    George Vreeland Hill

  • I said "All Right!" Charlie's Angels will go down in history as one of the biggest pop-culture phenomenons ever.

  • how did i ever go from something like this on 45 to iron maiden number of the beast on cd and pantera cowboys from hell and slayer reign in blood...WOW it must've been a subliminal thing, well maybe it was all the drugs i did¿¿¿ and let's not forget LedZeppelin Physical Graffiti

  • This is actually the first time I've seen any Charlie's Angels clips. Why was Farrah Fawcett so overrated? My order is Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson, then Farrah Fawcett. BTW, I googled all of these women and they're all still very sexy.

  • That key change at the end is..key.

  • @nina80521 Very good. You must be a musician like me.

  • slightly gay but it brings back memories.

  • that's funny...i actually had this on 45 record when i was a kid...i'm laughing mao

  • Nothing like a good puneta song.

  • I finally get this song now btw! LOL!

  • wtf is that piece a shit!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh the 70s had the hottest chicks! dianne kay should be added to that list

  • Well done, from the "Angels in Chains" episode.

  • Man do i miss the 70s..

  • I hear ya, but each one of misses it in our own way. I was in third grade when this song came out, I remember hearing this song in my sister's car, when she would take me to school.

  • Great video! Glad you chose the first season showing off Farrah!

  • Gloriously cheesy, yet irresistible 70's pop at it's finest!

  • This song reminds me of Wildwood, summer 1977. The last summer we stayed at the Diamond Beach Motel.

  • I dont care about where you stayed at a motel.

  • Nobody care what you think spectre855!

  • @jimmyhd1969 Every summer from '72-'77 I lived on 20th near Pacific. Where have all the years gone?

  • Love it...

  • Well done, sir!

  • This is Great! memories :-)

  • This song was bad when it was new. Completely tied with "Run Joey Run". , and I was there when both were getting top 20 airplay.

  • What a cheesy, stupid song. But I'll be damned if I can stop listening.

  • Who's your favourite Angel?

I'd pick Sabrina, although by a small margin. All three meet my conditions; they all have straight hair (Mine's wavy, to make clear my preferenes), moderate height weight, and whose stature doesn't differ that much. but I'd pick Sabrina for her intelligence and pragmatism and humillity.

  • @DNLARS145 Kate was the tallest at 5'9". They had to downplay her height a lot so she would not overshadow Farrah and Jackie. They were 5'5" and 5'6" respectively.

  • @JP5466 You're right. I read in an old Tv Guide article they had to keep Kate out of heels that were too high for that very reason.

  • I meant American Top 40 with Kasey Kasem.

  • It was also the 7th most popular song of 77 per American Top Twenty.

  • The 45 mix of this hit went to #1 in 1977 and is easuily one of the best records of the '70s. These "Charlie's Angels" visuals don't match the story line or nature of the song at all (except, of course, that the girls are cute). "Undercover Angel" WOULD make a great music video is properly imaged.

  • charlies angels excellent spank bank materail

  • I think this song came out the same time Charlies Angels came out.

  • I grew up with this music

  • Alan O'Day's #1 song "Undercover Angel" from July 1977, wasn't his 1st #1 song. In 1974, Helen Reddy took O'Day's song "Angie Baby" to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 on Dec. 28th of that year.

  • Love the song. Used to listen to it on WLS Chicago when I was a kid. Tried to buy it on 45 but they never had it in stock, and never restocked it. O'Day got screwed somehow.. it went to the top of the charts, yet the record stores refused to stock it. My fave song of all time }:-)

  • Such a great, but yet utterly dreadful song. I used to hear it on an oldies station in my old home town, and recently just remembered it and downloaded it from itunes - yep, I paid for it. I think I was drunk when I did it. But I don't regret it!

The "love me love me love me" part is possibly the worst pre-chorus I've ever heard. Plus looking at other comments, I had no idea that Alan also sang "Skinny Girls"!!! That was huge here in Australia.

  • Couldn't disagree more about the "love me love me love me" lines, which work PERFECTLY within the context of the song's story and structure. They're what we're hoping the angel will say and just right for setting up the hook of the tune, in which he sings the title.

  • i remember when this finished the year in the top ten it is still great

  • OMG K-Tel that was like another lifetime ago....not that I am THAT old.......lol

  • hey I remember this one from '77. this one and LONLEY BOY by Andrew Gold ^-^

  • Great memories of the summer of 1977! This song was a part of it, big time!

  • I had a neighborhood girl after me that summer. She was a beauty but for some reason, I wasn't interested. She loved this song and used to leave me notes, signing them, "My undercover angel".

I wonder where she is today.

  • did you google her name?

  • Thank u 4 making me smile and laugh!

  • Just like being at Side Track!

  • good choice of angels

  • A great video and a great song i really love this song and thanks for posting the song WOW! I remember Charlies Angels Show and that was great!

  • cool, I had this on a K-TEL record. Remember heaven on the 7th floor. woo hoo, look it up.

  • The last time I heard this song I was when I gave up baby formula and started sucking my thumb.

  • Early Kim Basinger at the end.

  • I LOVE the song,Undercover Angel,so much so that it's my favorite one hit wonder song!It was No.1 for one week in July 1977.I have 3 of Alan O'Day's albums, and Undercover Angel is on the one called Appetizers, from 1977.I'm also dying to find a video clip, any clip,of him!So far,no luck(I haven't seen the Time-Life infomercial you speak of,ericcarr18017)!

  • Alan also had a #1 hit in Australia in 1980 with "Skinny Girls", which can be found on this site, so he's actually a "Two Hit Wonder". Be warned though, some of the pictures set to the music are gross. Cheers, KEN

  • I hear this song at work. And it is great!

  • How do I have this video "auto play" to my "MySpace" page?

  • I hadn't heard the song in almost 30 years and with good reason - it's simply awful. The tv show is horrible, too. But I did not tune out. It's like watching a train wreck.

  • I always sang----under cover lesbians,midnight fantasyyy

  • bueno aunque no se si existe el video de esta buena cancion, siempre es grato ver a las chicas de los angeles de charlie todas muy guapas por cierto.

  • Thanks!
