this was a throw-away song until Cream's producer suggested putting the accent on the first beat, like an Indian war dance. That gave the song its feel, its primitive rhythm and it fuckin took off...over the moon. Ozzy & band got in the groove very nicely. And played it correctly, like the worlds coming to an end....now!

well it's certainly different. whether it is good or not ... ? a bit pointless really. it demonstrates two things (a) you can certainly come up with weird and wonderful takes on the old classics (b) but it doesn't necessarily add anything. the guitar solo is based upon EC's version. this is ozzy having run out of ideas ... time for a covers album then.

ozzy has lost EVERYTHING vocally. watch his 2009 blizzcon "performance." it sounds like a dying goat singing, going all off pitch. it sounds awful. dio has had NO bad performances, lost nothing vocally, and actually was a classy, well spoken individual. ozzy can't even talk man. vocally, there is no comparing. ronnie's range was farther, and he had more energy in his performances, where ozzy would simply stand in front of the mic during the whole show.
