Gentile's voice is great for atonalism, since he can't seem to hit the right pitches. Fortunately his overacting distracts from the lack of musicality.

"The Dale Deusing DVD is good, but we need another filmed version." Agreed (I own it), except that I found those sets in the Deusing jarring. I would have preferred a more traditional, less artsy staging. Still you've got to give the man credit, performing opera in nothing but his shorts!

good to see that somebody dares to post such music on here! even opera houses have qualms about putting such productions on these days because it's so "off" the mainstream
