I'm currently trying to get rid of a mole on my neck via the string method. I tied unwaxed dental floss around it two days ago and nothing happened. I don't think it was tight enough. Last night I tied a piece of pink cotton thread around it much tighter, until it ripped a little. All last night it itched like crazy. It still itches. I take this as a sign that *hopefully* I will be mole free in a week. Did yours just fall off on its own or did you pull it? Did it grow back? Thanks!!
Yucky, but thanks for posting this! I have a mole on my lower tummy that I've had all my life. It's not as big as yours was, and I tried to tie it off before, but it got infected because i kept a bandaid on it the whole time (it couldn't breathe). Not it's kinda just barely hanging on there! Looks like a little button! I don't mind it much, but since I'm now pregnant, I know it will be getting LOTS of attention... So, I think I'll try tying it off again. Thanks!

@TheDizease - ya know all this person did was cut the blood supply off to "the thing"... they didn't do surgery, or anything asinine so what the hell do you care?
