All I know is we have very similar tastes; I own abotu 80% of this list and each song you picked from those albums are my favorite tracks from those albums. Nice!
Really enjoyed the selection, dont know what the criteria is these days for AOR Journey plus everyone else!!!! Russ Ballard done that great track for Miami Vice called "Voices" and Magnum , FM have done loads of great tracks, keep up the good work....
Great selection... but very, very surprising... to see you did not include one of the BEST AOR/hard rock albums of the era... and, they were from (your home country?), Poland. Ever heard of SYNDIA? Look for it. Recorded in 1989, released on CD in Poland in 1992. Very similar to Skagarack- and by far- the best melodic AOR/hard rock to come out of Poland (very few bands played quality AOR/HR in Poland, but Syndia was as good as Treat, Skagarack, Da Vinci, etc).
@TokyoMetal777 I know it very well, Dynamit i Diament, Spotkajmy się w pół drogi, Plaża snów, total aor, but there are many many bands that I like much more and what other aor bands you think about? Fatum? is more heavy metal I think
Beeing from Norway I feel honoured that you decided to include "Stage Dolls" and "Da Vinci". Great complication this, some stuff I have never heard off before. Personally I think "Europe" is one of the melodic rock bands with some of the best choruses but I guess you disagree since you didnt include them on this video ;-)

Nice, appreciate the effort. I noticed a lot of these appear to be in minor!
