  • i have two rotties myself... Erabis and Bia

  • Named after the dobermans on magnum p.i.? My rott is named Zeus too. Beautiful dogs, sorry to hear about Zeus.

  • Zeus and Apollo i thought they were Doberman names ????

soooo cute Beautiful dogs <3 them : )

  • we had 2 rotties n the family and their names were zeus and apollo as well... mean dogs they were.

  • NAW!!! I had a rotti called Apollo too! We both grew up together, he was sooooo cute, much like yours. Best dogs ever!

  • To bad, he was a beautiful Rottweiler

  • nice names :D

  • Is it wrong if a grown man cries because his dog dies??? jus wanna kno if I'm the only one

  • i lost my rot 2 weeks ago his heart bolw up :'(

  • @pfmfa Im soso sory :S

  • you can see my Rottie named COBRA, listed under "ROTTWEILER WITH BONE CANCER".

  • I agree with myzeus, My Rottie was swelled up like Zeus, I used to hear people make rude comments about his weight. my dog also had thyroid trouble and left him with little energy to exercise much. I wished people would have asked me if my dog was sick making him big instead of assuming he was over fed. Hows Apollo doing?.

  • I know what you went trough with Zeus, My 7 year old Rottie also had ostescarcoma. I had to put him down April 14th last year. It nearly killed me since I am disabled and lived alone with my dog. His name was Cobra. I have a new Rottie now and I'm feeding him nothing but natural holistic dog food, and I'm keeping him on the trim side. He's just turned 1 year old and weighs 91 LBS. Zeus was a beautiful dog, your other Rottie is also beautiful. I give my dog Glycoflex for his joints.

  • Zeus is no longer alive. He had a bone cancer, Osteosarcoma. His body was swollen because of the bone cancer. Some of you people are sick and nasty to think he was over weight....have some sympathy for a sick dog who had bone cancer. Zeus was put to sleep on October 8, 2010...he is no longer suffering with his bone cancer.

  • @myzeus So sad to hear that,he looks a cool Rott,a nice dog

  • @myzeus I dont see why people think he was "fat" he did look swollen now that you mention it. But do people forgot that rotts are naturally big and bulky dogs? Im sorry for your loss btw.

  • @myzeus sad to hear that , i hope you can get past this pain.

  • @myzeus

    :OOOOOOO

Oh My God... im soooo sorry :' (

  • @myzeus I am so sorry. My rottie, Brandy, was also put to sleep this fall because of the same cancer. She couldn't even walk on her front paw. She was 10. Don't worry about defending yourself to the douche bags on the internet. Opinions are like a**holes - everyone has one and people will say anything when they're hiding behind a keyboard.

  • @myzeus

I'm sorry for your loss. I too love Rottweilers. I initially thought he was a 'ChubbsieWubbsie' who loved food and was enjoying life. He was a beautiful dog/ member of your family. Again, I'm sorry for your loss. :-(

  • Magnum PI FTW!

  • what kind of food should i feed my Puppy ...Price not a problem...

  • I have a neighbor with 2 great danes names apollo and zeus haha.

  • Lol my rotts name is Apollo

  • This video was taken in 2007...3 years ago. Since then, both of my rottweilers that you see here have lost weight and are now very lean and they will also be 5 years old this coming March 14th.

  • @myzeus Hey did these boys ever live on Boise Ave.?

  • @argkampfhund No, I don't even know where Boise Ave is located.

  • i have a son of this dog very powerful

  • @johnreed45 I am sorry but you are mistaken. I have never bred Zeus or used him as a stud yet. Apollo is now neutered. You must be thinking of another dog.

  • @johnreed45 i have a puppies fromt his stud too. They are top quality,

  • your rotts look great! Good size, muscle and build

  • cross that fance i dare u

  • Wow these guys are huge. Do you breed?

  • They are much leaner now. No, I am not using Zeus for breeding. Can't use Apollo since he is fixed now.

  • nice rotties, my rott name is APOLLO as well!!!!

  • Great dogs!!! i can see the dogs are not starving.. hahah.. My rottweiler male is 6 months old and 34kg. and my rottweiler female is 40kg. so my baby boy is going to be a big bear.. :) love the breed.. <3

  • Thanks. They are much leaner now. My rotts will be 5 years old this coming March 2010.

  • they most be from the german bloodline their tiny

  • They are German ,Yugoslavian and American bloodlines. Not tiny either at 150 pounds. They are the AKC standard size.

  • they look really small to be 150lbs

  • maybe they look smaller on video. they are the AKC standard though. the breeder is in waller, texas.

  • I love rottwillers there awesome:P

  • big rottweilers you got there... i got one puppy he is three month and a half i hope he get as big as yours

  • My rottie is sick. He was swimming in poisoned water and we didn't know that. He bites when you touch him and he doesn't eat and he doesn't drink. He only sleeps :(

  • take him to the vet. a doctor can only help him.

  • He only missed he's toy :')

    A yellow ball.

It was really weird, i gave it back and he was all happy and he didn't bite anymore :)

  • LOL tru thing dat take it 2 da vet

  • Please get him to a vet immediately. He may have been infected with a terrible parasite.

  • those guys are not starving....;-)

  • they are leaner now.

  • i just got your reply back. my name is desmond im from san antonio tx, ive been dealing with razors edge pitbulls grew up raising and dealing with rott weilers. im tired of dealing with the law and peoples out look on pits. i told myself im goin back to rottweilers, but i just dont want any rottweiler i want one just like zeus, if you could please would you send me the information i need to get in touch with the breeder you used thx

  • u need to do research on the net like i did before i got my rotts. i found the breeder in waller, texas from research on the internet. i don't currently have the breeder's address available. good luck in finding a reputable rott breeder.

  • First off, I highly recommend that you brush up on research and change your training tactics since pit bulls are harder to train than rottweilers. let me know when you're ready for a pup. I know th e perfect breeder.

  • you're right, indeed X-D

  • great dogs

  • Thanks!

  • How much does a rottweiler increase your home-owners insurance.

  • don't know. u need to check with the home owners insurance companies to find out. each person's experience with the insurance companies is different. just call them to find out.

  • why do you say that if u have a dog does it go up?

  • don't know...u need to check with the insurance companies.

  • Aww looks just like my mom's friend's rottie names Zeus too

  • Rotties Rule!!!!! over pitbulls

  • Beautiful specimens,

    I have a 2 year old female,

    amazing dogs,

    they are just like ppl.

    Rotties Rule!!!!!

  • I love Rottie

  • wow thats a huge rottweiler there

  • is that your garden?

  • no, that's my yard. It was freshly mowed at that time.

  • those are god names what made you wana choose those names?

  • I chose those names because the Rottweiler breed originated from the Roman Empire and it was the Romans who introduced the Rottweiler to Germany. I felt it was appropriate to give my rotts Roman/Greek mythology God names. And I do appreciate that period of mythology.

  • very good dogs. please watch my rott pup and comment

  • i love rotties there my favorite dogs and i used to have 1 but he died at 6 on 12/12/06 i was very upset. im getting another one whenever we see one that we like and were naming him apollo right now i hav a french bulldog pug mix named roxy. Also theres a website called recycled rotts and they find homeless rotts.nice dogs

  • omg i love rottweilers there are my favorite dogs i had 1 who died on 12/12/06 and im getting another one sometime in a couple months and were naming him apollo my past rott that died was 142 pounds and died at 6 right now i hav a french bulldog pug mix named roxy.

  • some nice looking dogs you have there. Once i graduate from college i'm definitely gettnig a rottie for a doberman...my girfriend is scared to death of dobermans but loves rotties...go figure...no such thing as bad dogs just bad owners...and i love the names too...i always said that when i get my dogs i'd name one of them Apollo...big fan of the greek gods (that's a history major for ya hahaha) good luck with you big ol doggies there!

  • Awesome dogs

    both are really nice

i certainly wudnt walk into your garden un-announced lol

  • some one breaks in your house their confronted with 300 pounds of rot, would not want to be on the receiving end of that

  • yep, my boys would have their lunch for the day and i could save some dog food. dog food is getting so expensive.

  • 1 of my rottweilers is a king rott and is built jus like that rottweilers rock

  • Yeah, my boys weigh around 150 pounds now and they're bigger than I am. Rotties are great dogs.

  • mine is 85 pounds at 6 months crazy

  • Very Nice males I would love to have a pup off either one of them

  • Awesome brother...your rotties are the best so far on youtube !

  • do rotts have a chewing disorder like pitbulls?I am thinking of getting one but i have to keep him in my house and i don't want him to eat the whole house down.

  • you need to train them to a crate. Do a google on dog crate training. The crate is a huge help and they do learn to love it like their own space or den.

Yes, mine did alot of chewing, my wall, door frames, couch and etc but when I trained them to the crate I got all the chewing under control and also the house breaking. The key is to train your pup to the crate. Make it enjoyable for them with food. I used food to get them to like their crates.

  • that sounds like a very good idea.thanks.

  • i got a female pup at 3 months now, and she chew evrything. but she is not into eating alot, she eats normal, even when we give her meat she doesnt eat it like a normal rotweiler would do it, she eats slowly

  • it depends on the dog actually. my rottweiler i never had to worry about it. But if you train them you shouldnt have any problems when you see hem chew something they are not suppose to say no and give them a toy that they should be chewing that sould get your problem fixed if you will have any. Good luck they are great dogs I had one that recently passed away I have a pitt but iam going to get an other rottie soon I just love them best personality ever great dogs.

  • how much kg bro

  • They are big boys! You dont have to worry about anybody coming in your yard! I know what you mean about getting 2 puppies at the same time! I did that once and it was hard. I had 2 females out of the same litter and they were easy to train but they chewed everything until 2 years old! I called them my ternmites. We had plenty of bones and toys but they would have rather chewed the trees and house! They turned out awesome though.

  • It took my boys 3 years to grow out of the chewing stage and they loved to chew my house too. They also had their own bones and toys. They would do it when I was not looking or when I was asleep. They still love to eat grass, dirt and mud. So you know what it's like to have 2 rotts at the same time. Yes, it is alot of work and they keep me real busy. They are the best boys though, so loyal and loving. And you are correct, they are great guard dogs.

  • wow they are big.how much did u pay for them?

  • $800 for Zeus (show quality) and $200 for Apollo (pet quality)

  • $200? he is the same size as zues.damn i wish i could find a rott for $200 that size for that amount of cash.

  • I got Apollo at $200 because he had an overbite and I had to agree with the breeder to get him neutered, which I did.

  • OMG!! my rotties are called zeus & apollo!!..i also have 2 others called saf & jade..they are the best dogs in the world!!

  • nice dog's, ive got 3 rottweilers + thay look and act just like yours, Zeus reminds me of my dog Charley, i think thay look like little bear cubs.

  • beautiful rotties i miss mine very much i lost both of mine 2 yrs ago 1 was 5 yrs old the other one was 2 yrs old

  • what happened to them?

  • Great looking Rotties! The one who is running towards the camera in the end looks really massive, is he/she in shape or a little bit overweight? Hope no offens is taken, I'm just curious :-) Magnus

  • No, Zeus is not overweight. The dog food was bloating him up. Now I cook for them and they have slimmed down. They were sick there for awhile since they were also eating Ol Roy dog biscuits which were recalled. My rotts were vomiting and real sick from Ol Roy dog biscuits. My rotts can run properly since I do know that they DO NOT have hip dyplasia. Both their sire and dam were OFA certified as being negative and free of hip dyplasia.

  • zeus is soo adorable i have 2 myself

  • thank you...it's nice to meet another rott owner. zeus is my big boy...he's bigger than me and he's just a big love bug.

  • My family and I would like to own 2 Rotties one day, but we would like to have 2 intact males at the same time as we don't agree with neutering. Is this possible or will they fight constantly?

  • I do not recommend getting 2 rottweilers at the same time or 2 rottweilers from the same litter. I made that mistake. It is alot of work training 2 rottweilers at the same time. My 2 male rotts were fighting and they are brothers. I had to get Apollo neutered because he had a fault and I agreed to have him neutered by the breeder's agreement. I would not recommend getting 2 rotts at the same time, not a good idea.

  • i would love to purchase a dog from zues or where u got him from

  • I got him from a breeder in Waller, Texas. Currently, Zeus is not up for stud service.

  • I don't reccommend that you get two males from the same litter becuase they're so much more dominant than females they will fight more for rankings in the pack. I suggest that you take two unrelated males.

  • Those handsome Rottie's are my friends! ~Bunny~

  • lol..yes they are Bunny.Thanks for watching!
