I just don't see a demand for a product like this on a paid internet service, when there are so many cheap and great looking android/iphone games that can do so much more. Just look at the reaction in the clip when he mentions at@t, he was even a bit surprised.

Another thing is that I would not pay 250 plus the exclusive game tittle you speak of and an additional monthly internet fee just to have a controller, and i'm a gammer.

Secondly I would refer you check the whole Sony/BMG CD copy protection rootkit scandal that they got sued for. Where were those smart analysts you speak of then? Third is the whole playstation 3 Unix OS scandal. Look I can go on forever, the fact is that you are wrong about the analysts, fallowing market trends is simple work with the proper data, a chimpanzee can do it. Remember the Nokia N-Gage?

@gbatemper123 Just don't jump on it too soon, remember PS3 was 600.00 with 40gb when it first went on sale, thinking that the Blu-ray would entice the buyers, so they ended up loosing the gamer crown to Xbox 360. Mind you the PS2 was king and the original xbox was a flop. Another sony disaster. Give it some time wait for more tittles etc. Over all I believe the AT@T move is really a bad decision, should keep open to any network or a cheap annual Plus Pass for wireless network.

While we're raging about consoles, all I've sen Nintendo do is release old games on their new consoles with the name of the console on the name. ie: MArio Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, you get it. And it's showing in sales. The reason why the 3DS went down in price? In the last 3 months, the 3DS has sold around 800,000 units. Worldwide. The Wii has also dropped in sales drastically.
