You dont need to be a nerd to like DDo...But that video do show that, in a certain way, its a requirement. At least say a joke or something... anyway, DDo RULES

A few major mistakes in this rant.

1: Neverwinter nights was not restricted to AOL users. People who had knowledge of and who used an ISP, didn't have to pay a dime to play.

2: Baldur's Gate was not an online game, nor was it multiplayer in any way. It was a CRPG, but not an online game.

3: He said they are all "web based". Web based means something that you are able to play via your web browser. None of these games are "web based".

I hope this guy isn't getting payed to make these videos!

Now that I look into it, I think Baldur's Gate did in fact have a multiplayer functionality. :P Albeit, it was primarily a single player game, unlike Neverwinter nights, which was designed specifically for online play.

I started in 1979 I might have 3x's the books that includes my Dragon Mag collection starting @issue1, I moticed the co2006 on the vid but come on the title is more than Missleading, I'll bet my autographed 1st printing of the PH signed by Gary & Dave that this Robert if he even Plays D&D Loves 4.0 ed ....I bet Gary and Dave are sitting on a cloud LOL over this vid.....RIP Gary and Dave....and Im sorry you had to see this

Well why don't you make your own video series, if you indeed are such an expert? Don't get me wrong I think some of these videos are indeed misguided and love AD&D just as much as the nerd next to me, but I still don't see why i should go out and bash a guy because I'm obviously not part of the group these videos try to address - which is the people who have no understanding of the game what so ever.

hey Goonzilla311 what you do is complete the setup and go into the game patcher and let it finish in the opsions of the patcher is a setting to put it on the system bar on the bottom of the computer

I was hoping to see how the game compares to other MMO's on the market not a brief blurb on other D&D games that used to be played on AOL ??? Why not slap in other useless info on the Dragonlance series from 8-bit computing that has NOTHING to do what people would be interested in playing now.
