The only thing I see wrong with it, if you are trying to stick to following the song exactly, is that in the verses where you are playing the high-hat off the snare, it is supposed to be on all 4 beats, not 1 and 3.

Just some constructive critiscism, I noticed that the traditional blast at the beginning are a little faster than the song. I'm sure you have this shit on lock though by now. Also, for the person above, in the long run, its much better to practice with your wrists for blasts, it will take longer to get as fast, but its much more solid feeling. Try checking out derek roddys videos or george kollias.

I can do crazy time signatures, poly-rhythms, and poly-meters and any form of timings like that, but when it comes to actual details of the notes like dotted 3rds and tied notes and whatnot, I've got no idea lol.

Minim = 4 beats

Semibreve = 2 beats (or the other way arround :P)

Crotchet = 1 beat

Quaver = 1/2

Semiquaver = 1/4

demisemiquaver = 1/8

Hemidemisemiquaver = 1/16 (so basically, in a 4/4 rythm, a Hemidemisemiquaver would take up 1/64th of a bar)

Triplets are basically one extra note for every two, so 8ths in triplet form are 12ths, etc etc

Great job. Ill state the obvious first: a better kit would greatly showcase your ability. And Ill pose a question/concern : Why dont you double time the Hihat when your thrashing? The single stroke hits sound terrible and they look silly. Your double timming on the ride while thrashing is great, so I just dont understand why you dont on the hi hat.

@EastHunter2009 That's not my kit. It was the kit at the school I was at had, and I was in Australia so I couldn't really bring mine. :) I just put up a new video that I actually use my kit in. I don't use all of it as the song doesn't call for it, but I actually still have 2 splashes, 1 mini china and a zilbell that I don't have room for. :)

one thing that might help - take you middle and ring fingers down together like your making the "horns" (but with no thumb), and just practice doing that  on both hands, because that tends to be the motion I do when I ride my fingers heavy.
