Hey Doc. When are you done putting the finishing touches on the Delorean? We all want to travel back to the 1980's and leave this fucked up millenium.
@hayleygrays FUCKIN' A, I just hope that " BOB AND BOB" made sure that those movies CANNOT EVER be re-done or have another sequel. THOSE A SACRED CLASSICS. It would fuck up the whole legacy. NO TO BTTF 4
Another Christopher Lloyd blockbuster film, Chris did with Robert Zemeckis who also, reunited with Michael J. Fox in 1996's "The Frighteners" directed, Christopher Lloyd and Bob Hoskins in "Who Frammed Roger Rabbit" in 1988. Robert Zemeckis is planning, a sequel to the 1988 sequel it will be 22 years since, the last film.
Well totoro1591 I don't know about that sequels usually outdo the original film, so don't be surprised, by the new talented stars for Who Frammed Roger Rabbit 2. I know you liked, watching Bob Hoskins as Eddie Valiant battle Christopher Lloyd as Judge Doom/ Toon. The story plot at the end of the movie reminded me of the fight between Jean-Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia in "Street Fighter". Van Damme played, Colonel Guile and Raul Julia played, General M. Bison.
@Kevinlclayjr Well, there's an exception or two for everything. Personally I'm not a big fan of WFRR, but it's okay... certainly innovative and interesting... I think part of the problem with doing a BTTF sequel now is part of the dynamic just can't be there. Michael... trying to re-cast him would be a nightmare, and having a new guy would be a gamble either way...
I didn't know that you were not a big fan of Who Frammed Roger Rabbit, but everyone has their decisions to like and dislike its a freewill. Back To The Future is a blockbuster EPIC classic from 1985 to 1990. It will be hard to re-cast someone playing, Marty McFly the famous role Michael J. Fox played. I think Zac Efron would fit nicely as this role and they could cast Michael Keaton as Christopher Lloyd's role as Dr. Emmett L. Brown-McFly.
You don't know how talented Zac Efron is he was just in Charlie St. Cloud this past July 30, 2010. He looks and acts like, Michael J. Fox, for the actor, who could play Christopher Lloyd's Dr. Brown role I could choose Michael Keaton he's worked with Chris Lloyd in two films, Mr. Mom and The Dream Team.
@Kevinlclayjr He probably is just like J Fox was, a teen idol with teen girls screaming his name... The difference is now I'm 25 at that ass hat makes me think everything he is in is mindless shit for teen girls(along with twilight guy) He will ruin anything for me and I am not alone on this. Maybe if I was 5 again and watched efron for the first time I watched J fox in a BTTF film I could feel the same way about him but unfortunately I'm not 5.
Zachary David Alexander (Zac Efron) is a couple years younger than you he will be 23 years old in October and yes he is a teen and young adult crush on young girls. Megan Fox even thought Zac Efron was hot. Zac Efron can measure up to Michael J. Fox he is talented and so is his girlfriend pop singer, actress, advertiser and humanitiarian Vanessa Anne Hudgens. Vanessa Hudgens was recently, in Bandslam which, received Oscar Award Nominations. Vanessa H. can play Lea Thompson's LBM.
Haha, no we don't! Leave BttF alone! It'll probably star Shia LeBouf(?!?!) as Marty and the DeLorean will be replaced by a much newer, but lamer car because if there will ever be a new BttF the creators/producers/studio/all of the above will most likely completely miss the point of the original movies and make it into a CGI shitfest that takes itself way too seriously.
@Hotrodx199 No, what we 'need' is another time travel movie that is down to earth like BTTF and uses time travel for it's awesome plot possibilities. It is an underdone genre. BTTF is closed and should stay in the 80s with MJF, Chris Lloyd, Tom Wilson and Leah Thompson.
I would love to see a fourth Back To The Future they were talking about Marty McFly won't be the same without Michael J. Fox playing him. I believe the stars of my generation can be just as good as the cast from the 1980's films. Shia Labeouf could play Marty McFly or Zac Efron. Vanessa Hudgens could play Jennifer Parker Marty's girlfriend. Michael Keaton could play Christopher Lloyd's Dr. Emmet L. Brown McFly. Imagine M. Keaton as a scientist Beetlejuice/ Batman star.
@Kevinlclayjr I take it that you weren't even born or too young when those came out. THOSE ARE SACRED CLASSICS. NOBODY CAN REPLACE THAT CAST. IT'S A LEGACY YOU CANNOT TOUCH. They did it with the terminator movies and look what happened. THEY FUCKED UP THE WHOLE TERMINATOR LEGACY
I was a kid when the Back To The Future films were out Michael J. Fox is 18 years older than myself. Michael J. Fox is now 49 years old very close to 50 years old and Christopher Lloyd is in his 60's he's around the late great Raul Julia's age. The stars of today can alway's replace the original stars you need to get stars that have the same personality, acting skills and creative character dialogues as the original stars have. Arnold Schwarzenneggar was in Terminator:Salvation man
What, was wrong with actors and actresses Sam Worthington who was in Clash Of The Titans, and Avatar in late 2009 and early 2010. Christian Bale another big legend actor, who was in The Dark Knight, Public Enemies and actresses Moon Bloodgood (Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chunli) and Bryce Dallas Howard The Village, Lady In The Water and Spiderman 3. Yes, the Terminator films was messed up after the second or third film, but Linda Hamilton's role as Sarah Conner died after part 2.
@Kevinlclayjr Yeah Terminator was originally designed by James Cameron to be only in 2 parts. Meaning 1 sequel. T3 and T4 have NOTHING TO DO with the whole original story by cameron. It was just to make money with the franchise. So yeah, T3 and T4 are Fuck ups
@alyr315, WOW man that was deep but I agree with you Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day according, to your knowledge was originally written, produced and filmed as a two part series. Sad that Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines and Terminator: Salvation were not that that great.
For T3, the T-850 (Arnold) said " you only proposed it, judgement day is inevitable ". I'm surprised they didn't say T1 & T2 was all a dream, that it was only a premonition. Hollywood, don't you ever touch the BTTF trilogy by writing your own script that has nothing to do with the series. Robert Zemeckis & Bob Gale, if you have something good planned like the video game coming out, that's fine since it's your work. But Hollywood, don't you dare.
Not quite actually. Terminator was never meant to have a sequel. The whole first movie set it up so that the events that happened were meant to happen. Reese is John's father and always was. This is hinted at in the movie before he does the deed.
The T-800 being smashed at Cyberdyne was meant to happen which created Skynet.
But T2 is so well written that it really doesn't contradict T1 except for the T-1000 coming back and the dates the T-800 mention mid way through the movie.
Is he really divorced from Jane Walker Wood or did someone just make that up and they're still married? Also if they got a divorce how come it was never mentioned and how come they showed up together at a Star Wars premiere in May 2005 and were divorced in December 2005. Something doesn't sound right there! I don't think they're divorced I think someone made that up!
Did, Christopher Lloyd have a birthday recently I didn't know that but, apart from working with Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, Thomas, F. Wilson, Claudia Wells, Elisabeth Shue, and Mary Steenburgen Chris Lloyd met his twin Raul Julia. Christopher Lloyd and Raul Julia were truly brothers in The Addam's Family films before, Raul Julia played, the villainous General M. Bison in Steve DeSouza's "Street Fighter".
I love Christopher Lloyd he is a terrific actor. I loved him as Al the Boss Angel in ANGELS IN THE OUTFIELD! Got a question. Is he really divorced from Jane Walker Wood and why wasn't it ever mentioned that they were getting a divorced?
actually , he still looks... i don't know 55, 60? and He is 70+ years old ? my grandpa is 75 and he looks old enough for that age , but Christopher Lloyd looks like 5 years older than he was in the 80's (well, without the crazy white hair)for example and it's been 25 years .When i first watched bttf , i thought he's 45 and it's stunning , that he should have been 55 already back then!
Tell me doctor, where are we going this time? is this the fifties or 1999?!! i love it too man! i always sing along whenever i hear it so...take me away , i don't mind but you better promise me , i'll be back in time!
Mr. Lloyd, you have always been my favorite actor to watch. No matter which role you accept in television or the movies, you pour your whole being into the character, each character distinctly different from the rest. The diversity of the roles you have portrayed is a tribute to your talent. Live well, because when you go, you will be dearly missed.
I have taken Mr Lloyd for a good actor since I saw his face in BTTF Part I at the and when he went forward in time and talked to Marty. He is a good actor.
