  • I'm 13, 84 pounds, I have a fast metabolism, and I eat fairly healthy. I'm trying to cut back on all the trans fat and soda. I want a flat stomach to attract a few guys, but not something that will make me look too skinny. I'm already pretty bony, but I eat regularly. Is this a good exercise for me? Is there anything I should not do or add to a routine? And how often? Please reply, I've been looking everywhere for advice. Thanks so much.

  • I have to say, I've seen my fair share of toning videos and the "instructors" usually seem weirdly enthusiastic. What really caught my eye about Ms.Alycia is she's so real - not to mention cutely animated. She really makes me smile, which we fat-fighters really need especially in the beginning.

    I'm currently 5'9" and 180, 30 and putting my petal to the metal. I'm working on cutting down my sugar (no soft drinks, only sweet tea on the weekends) and reducing my portions.

    A few questions, I've heard that 'muscle memory' interferes with weight loss - basically if you do the same exercises everyday then your body starts adapting to them and they become ineffective? Is this true?

  • ALycia, I think I'm going to do this one. You know what? I have a serious problem. I think I am overweight. As I can see. I have big stomach and big hips and also jugs. It's just that, I am not having a problem to my hips and my jugs. I am just having a problem with my stomach. I have a vital stats of 35-30-37. So, I think I should flatten my belly not affecting my hips, Well. thanks for the tip.. More power! Godbless. ;)

    I have just started the workout and i feel really great!i am never a fat one but always the belly fat is bothering me for the past 10 years.i always envy those who have great abs and flat stomach but never really take action to achieve it until 2months ago where i realize exercise is so important for health..and the thing is..i feel energetic and great!hopefully ill get a nicer stomach..ha..thanks for the great tutorial.

  • question: Should you do this workout if you have fat on your around your stomach? Because I've heard if you do ab exercises but you have fat, it will get rid of the fat just make the abs stronger under the fat making your stomach actually bigger.

  • What she's doing there may look like she's not doing shit, seems she's weak and not trying. But once you try it, you'll feel the burn and your abs start to firm shaps

  • at first, seeing her do the work out, it seemed weak and not very effective, but as soon as i tried it, i really felt it in my abs and im glad i tried it out.

After getting clearance from your physician to begin a weight loss program, I would preform cardio first until you get close to your weight goal THEN begin incorporating toning exercises.
