Very well done! The pictures really add poignancy to the story. Also, good job choosing John McDermott's rendition of "Christmas in the Trenches." He can "sing a story to life" in a way that makes you feel like you're actually there.

@060stone403 they refused to shoot at each other after Christmas and were sent to different posts. If the Christmas truce happened everywhere then WW1 would have ended

The generals were scared to death that the soldiers on both sides would refuse to fight any longer. So they had the shelling start again. Too bad the soldiers didn`t turn and go home. What a useless waist.
