Paul has to fight and scratch for every point and assist he gets. Must be nice to be Rondo and be able to, at any time, throw a 2 inch shovel pass to Ray or Pierce so then can hit a shot to make Rondo look good on the stat sheet.

well yes i do agree that chris is better than rondo, but rondo's improving, just look at his 29 18 13 stat line in Game 4 this year vs the cavs.

@hongming123456 chris paul was a top 5 player in his mvp runner up year (all nba first team) and was a top 10 player by all standards in 08/09 (22-11.8-2.8 highest efficiency amongst pg's highest usage rate in nba, all nba second team). in 09/10 he was injured and still managed 18-10 on 49% from the field 40 percent from 3 and 84.7 percent from the line. his potential is top 5 player in this league and at at the least top 15.

@MrJeckel you don't have to the best to be an MVP, you have to be the most valuable to your team, hence you can't say that cp3 was a top 5 player just cause he was a runner up. take for example this season's Heat, with james wade and bosh. james and wade are both top 5 players, but they won't necessarily be in the running for MVP due to the face that they are not the MOST valuable to their team, not like, say, kevin durant is to the thunder.

@hongming123456 Rondo's stat lines is beast at times but cp3 has had some beast stat lines (21 assists 3 times in his career, 30, 19, 9 vs denver) nearly a quadruple double against the mavs.. also its not all about stats when rating pgs or players in general..

@harlemkiid149 actually when rondo goes off the whole team starts getting involved,cuz rondo is a true point guard.he can get to the basket real well and if you noticed once rondo starts doing work he gets assist and points and obvious once you start getting assist people start scoring. rondo is a player that can make his whole team look good once he gets his chemistry good.he is also very good defensively.

@beasty108 Rondo is way overrated look at his individual skill compared to other point gaurds. We all know he cant shoot, he a good passer because well sh*t that's the only thing he trying to do,he a great defender but thats it. He cant create his own shot he really doesnt have handles like Drose or CP3 to break down a defender,he's not deadly in the pick and roll game.He's a perfect player with great players around him.If him and CP3 swaped teams you would realize Rondo's true insignificance

@harlemkiid149 but see,i seen rondo play some games during the and it looks like his handles and shoot improve majorly.His handles might not be better than some pg but its good enough for pg and honestly i don't see him get ripped constantly and he does some nice crossovers and different move to get to the basket.

This might be a situation where Chris Paul needs to be on the Celtics and rondo on another team to see if you or i was right.

Celtics team makes Rondo so much better than what he is. Celtics have GREAT defense that makes rondo so much better. when getting the steal and fastbreaks, rondo needs to run down and finish and get point. When they are running offense he just need to drive a little or run a play and swing it to the side and let the 3pointers sink. RONDO is NO MATCH for CP3.
