I am a John T. fan and have been for years. My wife and I both like his movies and I llike the fact that like me, he is a fellow pilot. I know most of you out there are going to think that this is a load of crap. But I was in Haiti with the Volunteer Ministers for 38 days. I just got back on Thursday, March 4th. Dont you think there are scientologists that are professionals? Not all scientologists work for the church. There are nurses, doctors, midwifes, engineers, builders, carpenters, you name it. Many of the scientologists that have gone to haiti are there to help in their professional fields. Its just we care enough to go do something about it. Oh, and if you are wondering why i am not there, i went to the london bombings as a support to the london police and fire brigade.

Of course im a scientologist and i am proud of it! I am entitled to what i want to do with my life the same as you. I chose to be a scientologist because it works for me, that you dont want to be a scientologist is totally fine. If people decide they want to find out about scientology by going in and seeing for themselves then let them, if they dont like it they can leave, end of story, their choice!

There is nothing slanderous about protesting the abuses of Scientology. It is quite clear that the Volunteer Ministers are sent to disaster sites because management told them so, as they are only interested in PR. PR which is meant to counteract the fact that SCIENTOLOGY WAS CONVICTED ON FRAUD IN FRANCE and DAVID MISCAVIGE BEATS HIS STAFF and FORMER HIGH LEVEL DEFECTORS ARE LEAVING THE CHURCH. Oh, and PAUL HAGGIS HAS LEFT THE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY.

The Volunteer Minister program most heavily promoted by Scientology took place in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. An intercepted email from a Sea Org "Lieutenant" brags of a deliberate plan to prevent the grief-stricken from receiving counseling from psychiatrists.

Credit would be given if it was due. But, why hasn't anybody helped Haiti before Thousands died and homeless? It's easy to donate when you are rich. Oh and not to mention the fact that he gets to write this donation off on his taxes. Look at the bigger picture. Donations are investments. Travolta just bought a part of Haiti's stock.When it is rebuilded, Travolta will be in private ownership of some of the land there.

It is a common misconception to believe people join Scientology because of the doctrine of Xenu. People actually come to Scientology hoping for increased intelligence, improved personality, and help in dealing with personal problems (as it advertises itself as a self-help philosophy). Later, if they had paid enough, they learn a system of beliefs based on science fiction stories, infestations of alien spirits and exploding volcanos.
This is the bait-and-switch aspect of the scheme.
