From first glance, I knew this was man made. There are many 90 degree angles, seen in so many shots. Not even nature can produce so many 90 degree angles so naturally.Smooth and flat at that. When I was a child living in Okinawa in the 60's their was a legend of the palace of the dragon under the sea. We were told this story before nap time. The straight line cuts in what appears to be steps is the whistle blower here. Never have i seen these types of formations so perfectly carved in nature. It is obviously made by someone and a few measurements that show perfect heights of stair like structures will secure my conclusion. I believe this is natural. It is unlikely that primitive man drilled the rock to carve these flat surfaces. Nature can produce flat surfaces and intricate formations. This is absolute fact. Check out the Giant's Causeway. Just because it is flat and has sharp angles does not mean it is man-made. That is not proof at all. However, I must admit that it arouses my curiosity and imagination. It looks very mysterious.

However, with this particular site it is man-made. This is not the best video. In the past I had seen a few specials on TV as well as other youtube vids that only showed a couple of structures.

Then a few months ago I stumbled on to a few articles that had so many more pictures of different structures then I had ever seen before. I am very wary of saying this but if those pictures are real then I am quite certain they are man made. @buddhasknowbest First it is not just a few structures, it is an entire city. Some of which has sunk in an earthquake I believe 2000 years ago. Also, they dated some stalactites that formed in a nearby cave to be 5,000 years old.

He had not been to the location but was still adamant. However (this part was removed) he eventually did come to view the site (it was on tv) and he completely changed his mind.

From first glance, I knew this was man made. There are many 90 degree angles, seen in so many shots. Not even nature can produce so many 90 degree angles so naturally.Smooth and flat at that. Amazing! Just makes you wonder, What other great structures are out there. Lost to the great flood. Because lets face it. This was a structure built before the great flood along with others that are still waiting to be discoverd, from the depths of the sea, the jungles of the worlds, and the sands time.

When I was a child living in Okinawa in the 60's their was a legend of the palace of the dragon under the sea. We were told this story before nap time. As an adult I was re-told this story by my Okinawan girlfriend. Then in 1997 I was at SIGGRAPH in Los Angels I met two Okinawan girls there and the also knew of the story. So the only people that don't know the story would be the Archeologists studying It.

its man made perfect 90 degree angles lining in all different directions waves can make weird shapes but nothing as tech as this structure. the pyramid was probably built on a hollow ground causing it to collapse under its own weight or japans immense quakes and volcano activity could of made it collapse. the best thing to do is to take samples of soil to see if it contains volcanic rock or do a aerial scan to see if it is hollow underneath but that would need a satellite one word NASA cover up

The straight line cuts in what appears to be steps is the whistle blower here. Never have i seen these types of formations so perfectly carved in nature. It is obviously made by someone and a few measurements that show perfect heights of stair like structures will secure my conclusion. Many archaeologist will hate to reevaluate their human history theories.....even though it flies in the face of commonly excepted theories.

Very interesting. If this is natural, how were those smooth edges formed? I have not seen that in nature before. Is there a process in nature that could produce this?
If this is not natural, what was used to do this? And on top of that, could it have been done underwater? If this could not be done foreseeably underwater, has a carbon sample been taken to determine how long ago it was submerged??? At least then, if this was "made" by someone, we would know where to start to find out when

I believe this is natural. It is unlikely that primitive man drilled the rock to carve these flat surfaces. Nature can produce flat surfaces and intricate formations. This is absolute fact. Check out the Giant's Causeway. Just because it is flat and has sharp angles does not mean it is man-made. That is not proof at all. However, I must admit that it arouses my curiosity and imagination. It looks very mysterious.

I'm not saying this is man made or not. Im simply saying that these bit of rock formations did not look anything like the other formations around it while they were made of the same type of rock. There are similarly shaped rocks in the waters around surrounding islands. Nothing about the rocks is unique. It's impressive and eye catching, but completely consistent with naturally fractured sandstones. Almost every marine geologist will tell you this. I say almost because Kimura has a few supporters. But, you know, so do creationists.

Very simply put the movement of the ocean take's rock formation's with sharp angles and make's them smooth, it does not take smooth angles and make them sharp, that is a fact. Here is a simple test 4 you: Take a piece of broken glass from a bottle and throw it in the ocean anywhere in the world then fish it out a week later & tell me what you see? What does it look like? Then a few months ago I stumbled on to a few articles that had so many more pictures of different structures then I had ever seen before. I am very wary of saying this but if those pictures are real then I am quite certain they are man made. What was interesting about the article is that it also provided some information I had never heard or read before.

He had not been to the location but was still adamant. However (this part was removed) he eventually did come to view the site (it was on tv) and he completely changed his mind.

Pic of the hammerhead sharks is cool.If you look at the video The Mystery Of Yonaguni Underwater Structure01, you can see a drawing of the entire structure or formation.There are areas such as the giant rock slabs that look too percise to not be considered man made! I think it very likely ancient people used it as a place of worship after doing some modifications to the rock.

If it is not a natural occurring event, I have no idea how it ended up under water though I suspect the water came after it was built. Meanwhile, Walley Wallington shows in his videos just how easy it is to move stones of this size with very simple and primitive tools. No alien technology required. Search his name and you can watch him move huge stones all by himself.

Atlantis was a continent in Northern hemisphere of Atlantic Ocean. It was connected to Europe, Africa, America and Canary Island via Isthimus bridge. This possible is Mu I also think Easter Island is the sumit of a mountain conected to a now sunken island. I have a theory that South America is Atlantis or is very close (i.e. the Bimini road near Cuba) if my ideas are possibly wrong someone let me know why

I had no hard opinion about this structure being natural or man made{leaning towards man made} until i saw one view of what looked like a "drain gutter" the channel is about 8"x 8"x8" perfect square sides & bottom and runs for about 100' or better{haven't been able to find it again} it is just to perfectly formed{cut?} and straight to believe it is a "natural" structure. Have to say that convinces me this structure is man made. tyr to find Prof. Charles Hapgoods "the Ancient Atlantic"

Stop calling it Atantis. Atlantis is in Atlantic. Lamarian is at the pacific. Sometimes called Continent of MU. It sunk 14,500 years ago. Access it through Akashic record and you'll see it.

When you believe that mankind descended from cave dwelling chest beating ignoramuses it is hard to fathom that ancient man had architecture and intelligence that rivals our own. This is why it is so hard to believe that this structure was man made.

@thinkingman07 Actually we don't know all of our history and I'm pretty sure there's a lot to be discovered about where we come from and what secrets our ancestors hide. To think ancient men were nothing but just grunting dumb idiots who beat on rocks and hunted deer is pretty narrow minded. I'm pretty sure they were just as intelligent as we are.. maybe not technically advanced but smart nonetheless.

@Jeffrizel1986 I agree, there is a lot we don't know. But when we postulate a theory about origins calling it science, people feel that we must view all discoveries with those lenses. When a discovery like this man made structure appear, instead of abandoning this theory, we protect it and call such a magnificent structure a vestige of random geology. Again, when you believe that ancient man was a troglodyte you have a hard time explaining ancient artifacts like these.

LMAO!!! I haven't dived 1 SECOND in that water or been anywhere near that site... but through simple human observation it is blatantly, plainly, extremely, apparently, OBVIOUS that it is indeed man made. A freaking child could determine that. Why the hell would anyone believe otherwise.
