  • Cool,

Check Out my WW2 short film , click on my username.

  • That was a really well crafted together movie. What type of filters did you use?

  • Why did you choose the title Sudilkov? Do you have a connection to this shtetl?

  • great movie

  • Good job, Dad!(cameron) You have a gift of showing amazing and realistic emotion into your acting. Love ya lots, KT

  • yeah condaly

  • All you have to do is watch for my film, "Sudilkov", to post on-line (sometime this week) at www.onthelot.com. It's Spielberg's Reality Show on "America's Next Great Filmmaker". It should be on-line here very soon. To vote for it, you just need to create a "user-name" and "password", then you login and vote! Have friends vote to!

  • Respect to the Red army and the Russian people!

  • Ok Music is good, camera perspectives too, story too, and yes, in WW2 many russian Soldiers death, but we must see on the german military too: Germany was in a downfall! Its died more german soldiers as russian and the russian military was many more as the germans. So my meaning is that the true Heroes of WW2 was the germans.

  • In WW2, the Germans, though some good people, were following an evil regime. I have respect for the Germans fighting for their cause, and everyone else fighting for their causes. But in the end, this film is about the Russians. Thanks for the comment.

  • Great cinematography, Tom. You captured a wide range of emotion in this fine short film, and the setting and landscape was terrific. All the best with your film festival debutes.

    Rob Laughlin @ Cardinal Entertainment

  • Uncle Rob!! Hey. How are you? It was great being able to talk to you on the phone while visiting Nebraska. Sorry we couldn't hook up that week, but we'll see you again soon. Take care!

  • God that was sad. Fabulous video man, that was powerfully and emotionally driven. Seeing that girl look at that little rope on her hand when she was alone, that takes your mind to such depressing places. Keep at it buddy.

  • Not bad at all! Btw many russian were forced to fight in horrible circumstances (they were just cannonflesh) and died because Stalin was a cruel dictator. I like Russia and I drive with russian jeeps ;-)

  • "They just bought up everything at 14 cents on a dollar, and they're now ready to make additional billions as they put you through another world war.

"They're going to have you pay for it. You're going to be involved in it. You don't think you'll get involved, but they'll say that for the peace of the world, you must come in, and you'll feel so soft-hearted about it, you'll come in. It will be just as big a mistake as World War I."

  • Thanks for the comments edmond4. Good thoughts.

  • Clark agitated them over this and they fired him. He later served as Undersecretary of State, and Ambassador to Mexico. In 1937, he knew their treachery was soon to unleash more fury upon the world, and he warned apathetic Americans:

"The power people are now planning another war for you. They have made this depression last many more years than it would have ordinarily lasted. They got stock down to 14 cents on a dollar. . .

  • Great Job. Impressive Student work. It reminds me of the power of cinema in portraying historic realities and events. I'm enraged at those who brought about WWII. J. Reuben Clark Jr., who had been the top lawyer to J. P. Moran and a slew of other Wall Street Criminals Durring WWI realized after the war they had planned the war, orchstrated it, financed all sides, and brought the US in so as to have the American Tax Payer finance the whole thing.

  • Well done! Great filming and acting. Im making some movies with friends too, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMDWeGygq6A

This was the first one, there will be a new one and better :p Could you give me some tips? :)

  • Great acting, great filming and superb editing. Well done on the historical points! I believe it was more like 29 million Russian who lost their lives between Barbarossa to Berlin, both civilian and military.
