I never have cried in any other movie in my life...however, this movie was very deeply touching and made me remember why I love Christmas so much. Not because of the presents and gifts, but because of time with family and good memories made and to be made. This movie made me think of my grandmother who made christmas what it is for me. I saw this movie on Lifetime a few minutes ago and never have I seen a movie that made me cry so much the way this did and I don't cry at all for movies. I will always remember The Christmas Shoes and the powerful affect it had on me. The weird thing is that there was absolutely nothing to watch on TV and while I was browsing through the channels my folks and I decided to watch this out of boredom. I am very glad we did. This is a must see.

lol, seriously! if anyone ever watched this movie at all, they'd see that he went around collecting cans to earn his own money to try and pay for the shoes! This has to be the best and one of the saddest movies ever.. it really embraces the true meaning of Christmas, but with a symbolic structure that we can all understand. I've never been able to watch this movie without crying for at least 3 hours afterward.. it breaks my heart, but it warms it at the same time.. incredible!
